As a Dutch person the way Trev pronounces Nyck de Vries is hilarious🤣
It's basically pronounced as "Nick the Vrees if you had to pronounce it in an english accent
in the UK we know how to pronounce Nycks full name. i guess americans struggle because of their accent

@@Kitteh_Kat That's basically it, Nick the Frees but don't make it sound like "Freeze" it's just Freeze but the way you make the "Ee" sound just sounds shorter If that makes sense.
@@jamesl9996 I think he just doesn't know it because he's not much of an F1/F2 fan. I'm American but I know how it's supposed to be pronounced because I watch even the F2 races. I think he just plays the game.
vrees doesnt make it any easier tbh, all u did was change 1 letter xD to actually make it easier for our americans, just call him nick the freeze
hey Trev! James here again :) During wet weather, you want to watch out for going onto the red and white or yellow curbs because you will have less grip and spin out. also in the wets you need to be more fluid with the amount of throttle you are doing through the end of corners because if you put your foot down too quick in the wet, you will spin out hence the oversteer or drift you were feeling out of the corners. Its a bit like having traction control off. I personally have driven around Silverstone IRL and the main idea is you need to be patient with the breaks and the power when going into and coming out of corners. This is also the case with every track on the calendar but more so with tracks like Silverstone which have long fast and medium pace corners. hope this helps. Also when you feel that you have gotten the hand of everything and you feel consistent, try changing the manual and using the paddle shifters on your wheal, it is actually faster than automatic. keep up the good work loving the videos! also say hi to cooper for me!!

FYI if you’re wondering how Trev got P3: At the end of Lap 10/start of Lap 11 Bottas hit the pits and I guess his engineers/ pit crew decided to give him the longest pit stop in F1 2020 known to man and everyone else just passed him before he exited pit lane.

The turbo sends torque at the higher range of RPM's so it makes it feel like you're driving on ice with a lot of the classic cars.
Also, try taking off some of the assists. It's way more fun. And you have a steering wheel with paddles. Switch over to manual. No traction control, no brake assist, and manual transmission done correctly will save you so much time on your laps.
Great episode dude, mind if i give some tips :1. when you race in the rain again try under fueling the car as i'm noticing you having a lot of fuel to spare, maybe by a lap or two.
2. Might want to check your steering input as it seems to be 1.5 to 2 times over what you're inputting, probably one of the reasons for your snap over steer.
3. Maybe some more control with the throttle?
4. Back to tip 1, maybe experiment with under fueling to see how much you can get away with, power to weight is everything in these cars and you might not need to to run rich fuel as often because of the extra weight and you can just leave it at standard for most of the race and use rich when you need it the most.
I understand you're being safe but where's the fun in racing if there are no risks :) .

Even if you feel like you did nothing on this race, you actually did what most simracing beginners are unable to do : keep a rocksteady pace and hammer it lap after lap, even when nothing's in sight, and in changing conditions (where you have to tweak your line every lap). It will come handy if you ever decide to branch out in other sims (such as iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Raceroom...) featuring endurance races and where consistency is the key !

Trevor, remember that you will need the money for 2nd driver BEFORE the end of the season, not after you get the bonus. So focus up on getting money for Sainz, it will increase to 9 Million!

You should try to look into fuel management, in races like these u can under fuel the car a bit and have a bit more speed in the rain, the engine uses less fuel because u drive slower because of the rain. If u did that in this race u might have pulled of from Vettel and maybe be behind Leclerc or even overtake him
