I was at that first show, and it was HEAVY. One the most raw, genuine, authentic performances by ANYONE I've EVER seen. The pain was evident, not only within the crowd, but with The Revolution. Tears flowed across the board, and it STILL amazes me that they even got through that show. I had friends that took in all 3 shows, and they said it was more like a 'celebration of life' by the last one.
I love you Wendy Melvoin, Lisa Coleman, Bobby Z., Brown Mark and Dr. Fink. I’d also like to acknowledge all of the people who were in The Revolution later on: Sussanah Melvoin, Jerome Benton, Eric Leeds, Atlanta Bliss, Greg Brooks and Wally Stanford. And most of all, Prince. Thank you all for making this world a brighter place.
Thank you for helping his fans thru this grief by sharing the stories that tell us what he is really like as a person and letting us understand why we are having such a hard time letting go. Luv you all.
Thanks for sharing and Prince's spirit is very much a part of you and what you as the Revolution are doing now. You are helping all his followers of his music to heal. Peace and Light to you all.
The Revolution, You were like the symphony orchestra and Prince was your guidance conductor. Thank you for sharing his story knowing how a true artist he really was. "The Majesty Purple Himself/R.I.P./R.I.H."
Beautiful interviews. I can't thank the Revolution enough, along with a few good people at Yahoo for putting this together. I'm finally slowly going through many of these Revolution interviews, its been hard as a super fan of 30+ years. I had the honor of meeting Prince and shaking his hand, firm grip, and asking a question or two on two separate occasions. I couldn't attend the Revolution shows, even though I missed seeing the Rev in the 80s due to strict parents and my age, but it was difficult. I couldn't bare to be there. Anyway, thanks again to everyone involved. .::Modernaire
its great hearing from the ones that were closest to him. We get to hear the real stuff about Prince and wat a gd person he really was love yous. Come to Australia and New Zealand as well
Thanks 4 sharing UR wonderful memories of Prince. Always wished that Prince would have made at lest 1 more album with the Revolution. Well he did come up with the Dreamfactory project.
Prince wanted to move on once his mind was set to do other things there's was no turning back plus prince really didn't want to do no reunion with them .. there's was talk of a reunion when the purple rain deluxe was going to be released but prince had other projects that why he was still working with the NPG. and 3rd eye girl.. prince already knew once he did the piano and mic tour it would be his last
I am so happy that the Revolution Do this and that they still like eachother. please stay together now and visit Austria. we also wanna See u in Europe.
Ummm...There were SIX OF US on stage you...lol...But thats ok, PRINCE and the TRUE fans heard and saw what was up even if you won't acknowledge..its ok You're WELCOME !!! John Wesley Payne aka Phantom guitarist hidden in the corner who saved your ass. Peace ✌
Maybe they're comfortable to let Wendy talk.Maybe she's the most articulate. Maybe she tells the stories in the most entertaining manner. Every band needs a leader & spokesperson. I don't reckon she'll follow by your advice, anyway. ;-) He he hee!

Love the way they all finish eachothers sentences.
I love the Revolution. Prince's touch will always be felt. I am sure somewhere he is smiling down and proud of what's being done here.
