On FindaGrave someone put her death certificate on there and it says she was born in 1905, not 1906. She would have been 21 on November 28th, 1926. She died on February 19th, 1926. 😔
Thank you for cleaning the son's grave stone and then coming back to make sure you got mom taken care of also. I am sure she is holding him tight and smiling down on you from heaven.
Thank you for taking care of their graves, it was a sweet gesture. So young to have that happen to them. I appreciate what you do, you’re so kind.😇🙏🏻✝️🌻
Thank you for cleaning her gravestone. I feel for her because I’ve had 3 C-sections and so I know a little what she went through. My last CSection the doctor put staples in and they didn’t hold so I was put on bed rest until the wound closed up enough that it wouldn’t get infection. I had a visiting nurse come out and change the dressings that they packed in so that it was clean. She also weighed my son each time she came out. She said he was growing like a weed. He is now a big handsome strapping man in his 30’s. I can’t help but think that but for the grace of God I could have met her fate too. The doctor told me if I was to get pregnant again it could kill me so I had him tie my tubes before I went home
My ex wife had two herself, but didn’t with Ronin (who is the youngest). I saw what she went through and can’t even imagine. Very glad you both are doing well. Things have definitely gotten better over the last 98 years I’d say.
@VirginiaTombstoneRevival Thank-you, kindness travels a long way. You are spreading lessons on that with your kind actions, in caring for these people's memory's. We enjoy watching your videos.
@@jennifervanderdrift3207 Ronin and I truly appreciate that. I will be getting him out there again this coming weekend and trying to clean a few military stones since Memorial Day here in the US is quickly approaching.
@VirginiaTombstoneRevival Ronin will be a great help and Memorial day is indeed a special day in the US. We have ANZAC day here for our fallen which is also shared with Australia. Have a good day with Ronin. We will wait for your next video .
@@jennifervanderdrift3207 I have one new video that I’ll be posting on Wednesday….so I’m going to have to get busy on cleaning more. My actual job has been taking a lot of my days and nights, so I haven’t been able to make as much content the last couple weeks. Pass on our channel to anyone you may know that would enjoy this.
I joined this channel for what you do and the reverence in which you do it. My degree is in history and I have spent the last 50 years following stories like this. Keep the background research as best you can. Thanks again.
Thanks for joining our little team! I no longer have Ancestry….bit it’s been really cool to see so many of our viewers spring into action and look up a lot of the individuals we have cleaned for. I love that everyone is getting involved in their own way.
We only use rain water and a product called D2. Not the easiest to find, but its results can’t be argued. After a few weeks the transformation is amazing.
Ronin and I were visiting my mom’s grave back in December of 2022 and he asked if we had any other family there that I could introduce him to. So ronin got to meet his great grandmother (we cleaned her headstone a few months ago)and his great grandfather. Then I remembered my 8 year old uncle was there also. He was hit and killed back in 1971 getting off the school bus when a semi failed to stop. So we found his grave and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in decades. If ever. So he was close in age to my Uncle Jimmy and I could see the wheels turning in his head. He asked if I had any tools in my truck that could help clean it off for him. I just happened to, so he sat there for a good while cleaning it off for him. I pulled out my phone and recorded it for family, as I thought it was the sweetest thing. Then after he was done he said he wanted to clean more. So the channel was all his idea really. ☺️
Nice video! Loved the birds, and church bells! Looks so much better! You are so appreciated! I had asked how you would donate? It was in another video. Not sure if you saw it. Do you have PayPal? I would like to donate, when I can!
We have a Patreon page. But I haven’t had much luck getting videos to upload there. Only one has actually worked for some reason. I do have a PayPal for just life stuff.
Yes, childbirth was, and still is, a potentially life-threatening situation. That is why midwives like my daughter are so highly trained. A sad outcome for the Bunting family.
There's a product called wetnforget they have 1 for madonary-concrete -stone all you do is spray it and walk away. If it needs more treatment respray but no scrubbing as that can damage some of the finishes.
I’ve seen videos of comparisons on wet and forget versus D2….its not even a competition on end results. I debated using that in the beginning of this channel, but it really isn’t enough for me to just walk away and not try to make it look better.
He remarried two years after Gladys’ passing and they had a daughter in the early 1930s. She passed away in 2007 and is buried in the family plot along with his second wife.
Back then, c-sections were only performed in life or death situations. It looks like she was dying from multiple issues, and the baby was too premature or just plain old too sick himself to survive.
When my Dad was being born the doctor didn’t think both would survive. Greendad told the doctor to save the mother. I do not know why my father was ever told this.
For being 98 yrs old those stones are in excellent condition. Thank you for all you do.

This would have been mine and my daughters' fate in an earlier time. Thank you for speaking their names and caring.
Glad it wasn’t.

I know….I recall thinking last year as I cleaned little Eber’s grave that this little baby had passed nearly a full century ago. It’s crazy.
The spacing between the Graves means one coffin.
Still done today in this situation if the cemetery will do it

I think that spot above her headstone is for flowers
Possibly. It’s not open at the top though. So I’m not sure. It looks like a lantern of some sort to me.
Awesome job

If that is a Catholic Church the bells ring the Angelus at 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m.
They used to just ring. Sounds like the Methodists church in town where I live, they play
Such a sad video. 😔🌹
It is. Gladys’ Find a Grave link has a couple photos of her….which always hits home to me being able to actually see the faces of those we clean.
What do you use in the water
Just rainwater. But we use a spray called D2 before and after.
Thank you for doing such a great job for all the headstones you do but you need a pair of knee pads
I have a pair from where I do a little side handy man business….but always forget to bring them.
