Is there a drawing about the resistance winding? I have a 2000w resistor wire but I don't know how to wrap it because there are 5 cable for the motor and thermal fuse
@@zana3587 thanks for your reply, but i solved this problem already. I have ZD-510 and with small extension my hot air gun get overheated and didnt let me continue soldering :D

Very nice fix. Altough I can't understand how the voltage is reduced for the motor to run, without any additional electronics.
Got it. It uses the resistance of the wire to make a voltage divider.

U can use "self reset thermostat", like Uchiya UP72 series. This one will cut-out when overtemp & come back when low temp.

dont forget to discharge the current before disasembling by touching 2 cord contacts together with screwdriver. I also try to fix my phlg 2000 e4

What was the problem? I would think of something that when heated melts and make proper contact
