This is a Knight Hero Class tier list video for Heroes of might & magic 3: Horn of the Abyss.

The best things about these tier lists is that Lexi makes them as if homm3 is the newest and hottest game out there. And Im absolutely here for it, I love it. These videos are genuinely the highlight of my day. Thank you.
You know what I would be dying to see? Once every hero class tier list is completed, you could take all S-tier heroes from all the classes, and make a new tier list, sort of like a competition for the title of "best of the best".

DUUUDE finally a Knight tier list!!! They’re for sure not the strongest, but they have ALWAYS been my very favorite to play since I first started playing Heroes 3 as a little kid (way back in the early 2000s). Keep up the good content man, your channel will blow up soon!!

Lord Haart is way better than C tier in HOTA, helping you to get angels first week and now that we can use diplomacy. Also Orrin is only B tier wtf.
Aren't Archery and Armory booth S tier skills? especially for quick combat

I think Lord Haart, while not the best as a starting hero, does a magnificent job as a secondary hero who you keep at your base to farm near hives. The extra gold is always very welcome in any game I played Castle.
I love these videos and as someone really really new to the game it helps a lot to sort of see other's opinions. Do you ever think about doing like a really basic tips and tricks video? For people who really only know the basics?

Knight are cool, basic leadership feels very good when you need a side hero to take a fight.
Sir Mullich is one of my favorite Castle players, I think I won one campaign (1 vs. 7) with him, and his really fun to use, especially because the speed boost allows the marksman being faster than almost all 1st level units (except Centaurs I think).
Wait,who is gonna take the Griffins specialist over Valeska?
It's less that he's the "griffon specialist" and more that he starts with armorer. Lex apparently really values a Knight who starts with armorer because they already have a good shot at getting offense and armorer + offense is the classic "might guy" combo.

Sir Mullich with speed arties gets black dragon speed on champions and if it is grass he even outspeeds them. What a mad lad.
Much like Edric, Orrin is a top tier knight if you are playing a different faction than castle. Playing tower with orrin and getting titans is insane.

most of what he is saying is better for single player, the ideas are the same you just have more time. usually air and intelligence are much better vs ai since you have to DD a lot but the rest is pretty much the same
Please make a video on what a perfect class would be. Which faction, skill probability spread, primary skill probability spread in early and late game, which specialties, etc

archery, armor, logistic? or mybe add cannon or hero with tier 6 units
I believe he already did when making Tier List for classes.
You would want good might hero (Barbarian/Beastmaster/Overlord) with Armorer/Offence/Logistics/Earth Magic and Wisdom.
Air Magic, Archery and Leadership are nice additional skills.
You can expect to lack 1 or 2 of these depending on specific hero and luck when leveling up.
You absolutely need Earth Magic and Offence/Armorer - preferably on Armorer/Offence specialist (Grag Hack/Tazar/Mephala), but to be sure You need Conflux and random Witch Hut/University on the map...

@@JayMannStuff it depends on a situation. i love logistic on my main hero lol. or archery is insane for early game archer stacking. and archers are great for quick combat too..

11:23 If knights are good early, but falls off later on, wouldn't diplo be the main focus skill (aside from Earth magic and offense ofc), as the potential and probability of the skill only grows the further the game goes as creatures grows stronger and you discover more of them (while also holding a stronger army yourself), or would you say Diplo is much more Utopia/gold income dependent?
Lord Haart always looks like Hercules to me. Not just because of the scenario in the vanilla game, but also the similarity to Disney's Hercules, and any smooth-skinned action series protagonist in the vein of the Hercules series. And just to make the comparison complete, Lord Haart turns out to be evil. And the actor Kevin Sorbo, who played Hercules, also turned out... well, not evil. But definately a very conservative christian. And not even the type that carries a balista everywhere he goes, just the one who argues evolution and the big bang.

Kendall might be one of the cases where a separate portrait was made, but not actually a full hero. There are a few times it happens like with a warlock or overlord in Mutare's campaign.

Maybe. Can we consider every portrait+name in campaign change a separate hero? Because the list would get far muddier and repeating that way. Catherine and Sorsha is already bad (also might Cathrerine also have been a "portrait swap in original RoE campaign she appears in?). Then again, they at least have a unique look to them, so an exception could be made here.
@@Kummitusv6lur not only is there a lot of these cases like with Christian from the last campaign of armagedons blade, Gem getting her own campaign and a lot of other heroes he missed. There is one dark horse out there I hope he doesn’t miss for the Wizard tier list: Yog with chain lightning speciality, but he can’t cast spells
@@rasmussten1206 Look that version of Yog, with the scripted restriction... Lexiav would need to make up a new letter and add it to the alphabet just with the express purpose of noting how it's not only the worst hero, but also the worst decisions in the history of game design.
But again its the case of is a reskin a separate hero

This may be a silly question but why is it that I cannot choose Sir Mullich in single player game if I'm playing the HOTA version? Also, never seen him in the tavern either.
he is only available in certain campaign maps and templates that have him enabled, he would be far too overpowered to play him in most temps
If you opt to play any player-made maps, you can simply go to the HotA Map Editor and enable him there.

I just finished a playthrough where my lord haart never got past basic estates even though he was my second adventuring hero. Stupid odds.
How many levels he got? 3?
The trick is to not learn any new skills before maxing Estates. If You learn new "good" skill (like Logistics, Offence, Armorer etc.) at levels 2/3/4 You may have to wait 10-12 more levels before getting Estates level up again
What specifically makes Edric a good main for Conflux?
Magic University
The Knight class is more likely to roll water magic and least likely to learn earth magic, with the magic university you can force the odds into your favor
hey, if you have a look at heroes.thelazy.net/index.php/Knight you will see the odds of knights rolling each type of magic, with Earth being the most powerful school, playing him in conflux guarentees that you get Earth magic through the magic university

i disagree with orin. the other day i was playng tower. and with titans and gremlines doing all the damage . i soon realised orin will probably be the hero that could do the most damage output for me. so yeah orin should be higher than the rest.
in PVP you don't have that much time to develop him, you prefer valeska in early because the +1 speed on marksmen does a lot and later you switch to angels
With diplomacy and navigation, you need nothing
