Idk why but every time I hear this song or listen to it. It feels like my future self is just taking me in a forest with a bunch of snow and they’re relaxing me or something like that, this song just makes me feel so relaxed.🙂
Listening to this song as I pass. I lie in a hospital bed, with a terminal disease. That's okay, I've accepted the fact that my life is over. Though not as long as I hoped for it to be, I still lived life nonetheless. I've had my ups and downs, I had my wrongs and rights, and now all of what I worked towards has come to a definite end. Worrying about my demise simply isn't going to prevent it. It was going to happen sooner or later and how my mother always used to say, "It's good to just get it done and over with." My mother was over yesterday, along with a few of my other family members. The despair on their faces made me feel guilty. Me, the dying one, feeling guilty. not for me, for them. Would it be better if I simply had ceased to exist? I had no impact on their life but to cause them pain and suffering each day I lie in this hospital. It was quite difficult to manage words out of my mouth. I hadn't imagined my death being this pathetic. I would have rather died doing something great, not from a disease. I felt weak, vulnerable, and pathetic. I felt like a newborn all over again. I couldn't speak or do anything for myself. I was just a burden. Each day I wake up is just another day I failed to avoid. One of these days, any second now. I put on my earbuds. I click on a playlist I had created for this occasion. I was always one to appreciate music. I loved it to death... I stare at the ceiling. I was ready. Now, I was prepared to go. To experience the afterlife. The heavens and the hells. The departing and reunion. The choirs and the fields. Beyond my painful death was an oasis for my soul to rest. All that I ever sought in life was just past the few seconds of pain that awaited me. Then, it happened, what I had anticipated. My breathing noticeably slowed down. My body started to panic, not my mind. My breathing started getting slower and slower until... it stopped. Suffocation would be one of the least painful deaths yet it seems to catch you off guard. I'm just not used to the feeling of it, not that I ever planned to be. It's getting harder to think. I was too weak to move. I was paralyzed. Despite all this, I was... calm? Calm. It was calm. (Hope you enjoyed my story I wrote out of boredom *and autism*. I don't expect a lot of you guys to read it lol.)
