Belper is a small town located about 7 miles (11 km) north of Derby on the River Derwent. 2 well known products were manufactured here, one is lovely to eat and the other would make you throw up if you tried to eat it. Thornton's Chocolates were made in a factory on Derwent Street and Swarfega was made by DEB in the upper part of the town. Thornton's headquarters is currently in Alfreton and the Swarfega factory has now moved to Denby in Derbyshire.

I’ve lived in Belper most of my life, I am biased but it is a fabulous town, Shame the best part of Belper wasn’t shown , the beautiful river gardens and the bridge over the river
Another great informative video, I've passed through Belper a few times but never took notice of what it's got to offer but you've shown it's got a good shopping centre it looks a really nice place to live.

My family lived in belper before I was born when I was born they moved to Denby I was born in 2013 and Denby is only a few miles away from Belper
This one I have looked at alot before - I live in Belper. There are other places to look in Belper - especially Belper River Gardens.
