Seems to work but will not connect to server and when you connect to itunes the activation lock is still there,so in a sense the DNS trick does skip the page but then apple block the server.
My dad got my mom an iPad my sister activated it and has it activated on iCloud no one knows the Apple ID or password. I sister is an idiot. So far this has not helped me
