The song is definitely a weird one. Dutch is the primary language used in the government and media with around 60%-65% of the country speaking it, of whom they also share the majority of their cultural ties with, while a creole based in English is used for casual speaking of which the majority of the country speaks. A decent amount of them can also speak normal English, but the only ones who really speak the Indian dialect of Bhojpuri are the decedents of contracted workers who the English and Dutch brought over. So if you ever plan to visit I wouldn't hold out hope to have a conversation in Bhojpuri unless you visit very specific areas there.
