Hi, I don't understand your question regarding 1:05, but you can download the instructions for a similar machine for free here www.manualslib.com/manual/806724/Toyota-Ec-1-Series.html?page=12#manual regards
Hi, you probably have incorrect thread tensions. Try increasing the upper thread tension. Make sure you have the needle in the correct way around and make sure you are threading it correctly. Regards

Hi, I'm sorry but I don't speak Spanish, if the thread is loose on the underside then this indicates that the thread tension is incorrect, Try tightening up the top tension and see if that helps - otherwise check the needle is the correct way around, try changing the threads , adjust bottom thread tension. Your channel's very helpful! Would the 2466 model work the same as this 2440 in your experience? The manual is the same for 2466 and 2440, so I was wondering what the difference was. I'm browsing for used heavy duty sewing machines and I cannot find info if 2466 is suitable for heavy duty work or not, i.e. leather and multiple layers of canvas.
Hi, if the 2466 is in good working condition then it should sew the same materials as the 2440. The machines are very similar mechanically but have different face layouts and stitch types. Regards
I've just been given this model.. What year is it from, I've taken off the covers and given it a clean and oiled the moving parts, it seems to work and stitches but the zig zag stitches are very shallow, is there a way to make them more pronounced?
Hi, probably the old oil is a bit sticky - try a bit of WD40 on the needle bar pivots and then move it from side to side by hand, the zigzag width should be about 4-5mm. if that doesn't work try WD40 on the cam mechanisms under the top cover. The machine is from the 1980s Regards
Hi yes it does require a specific bobbin type - but the good news is that it is a very common type that is used on many sewing machines. This one should fit: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50-x-Metal-Bobbin-Spools-SA156-Class-15-A-size-Bobbins/362785886378?hash=item5477b950aa:g:cPMAAOSwt6Rdq5yz Regards
Hi, do you have any videos on how to thread the needle? I have one of these machines, but I am not a sewer, so would appreciate any advice, thank you :)
Hola. Dominicana.
Hi, I no longer have this machine so I'm talking from memory. The drive belt may be difficult to find - it depends on whether the belt is of the flat type or V type and whether it is of a specific size to fit in with teeth on the electric drive motor and hand wheel. If it is not a flat type of belt then the following ebay seller has belts that may be of interest: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152128897158?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338364430&customid=152128897158_14339&toolid=11000 Regards

Hi you can download the instructions for a similar machine here www.manualslib.com/manual/806724/Toyota-Ec-1-Series.html?page=12#manual You should make sure that the top and bottom thread tensions are correct and this may solve the entanglement problem. regards
Hi, you need to balance the tensions of the top and bottom threads (raise or lower the top tension and/or raise or lower the bottom tension - until they are balanced and sewing nicely) for setting up the tensions refer to the instructions.
