Switching power supplies today work with at least 5 times the frequency compared to the 80s, which allows for a smaller transformer. Countersunk screws. Correct (AI resistant) comment will follow later.
Buenas tades, encantado estoy de ver sus videos, son muy entretenidos he informativos, tengo una maquina igual como la denominan ustedes, las tensiones aparentemente son correctas, pero el patin esta muerto jejejeje. ni entra ni sale, a pesar de haberle reparado el conmutador de modo que estaban los flejecillos que lleba dentro de el, sueltos los he pegado bien pero sigue sin funciona,haber si me pueden ayudar un poco con este tipo de maquina. gracias.
Thank you so much! Does the skate motor make any sound? Does it try and drive the skate at all? If it doesn't, it could be the controller chip on the SS board (that's under the top tuner board). It would also be worth checking for voltages to it. They do use semiconductor fuses on these which look like two-pin transistors and act as very fast blow fuses.
hi my mate has this model 100% i did alot of re cap work on it the man in reading was asking big money i did a deal with him my time for his time and cost of the caps as well i coming to the end of a tascam 38 repair it's a very big deal no one has done a fix like this i checked all over the net it's been jazzed up very big time i had to make alot of new lay out with out pcb way pcb's the soft wear was doing my head in big time they do pcb way at schools my sister teen told me bob

Annoying! So sorry but there are clicks on this video and I am investigating where these are being introduced. I think it's the audio clipping though.
