ingredients:
2 1/2 cup Glutinous rice (500g)
2 cup thick coconut milk
1 cup second extract coconut milk
2 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup Rock sugar
5pc pandan leaves
1/4 tsp salt
Bahan-Bahan:
2 1/2 cup Beras pulut (500g)
2 cup perahan santan pertama
1 cup perahan santan kedua
2 cup gula merah india
1/4 cup gula batu
5pc daun pandan
1/4 tsp garam

Turmeric leaves gives good flavor for sweet dish
Tumeric leaves are only good for adding flavour to dishes like curry n sambal not for this kind of cakes it will spoil the taste

I just finished making this and I'm so happy! I've never heard of Pulut Wajik before--your video appeared in my recommended a couple of days ago and I knew I had to make this. Pandan leaf was very hard to find for me here in New York, but I ended up driving out to a market that carried it frozen. It smells so good, now I'll be using it everywhere! Thank you for introducing me to something new!

Pandan leaf suitable for sweets and cakes and Nasi Lemak or creamy Rice from Malaysia, but Salty and spicy foods not suitable with pandan leaf, Pandan leaf is like Vanilla.
Pandan leaf is also used to to keep your car smells good just put few pandan leaf in yr. Car

Very good recipe... totally different from Sakarai pongal.. the rice is par boiled and brown sugar consistency is specific.. adding coconut milk.. so its totally different from சக்கரை பொங்கல்..
