This song is not disliked for it's concept and vibe, but for the timing it was released. Many ppl were dissapointed with CUBE releasing this "soft" song after Hobgoblin, when the newer fans were expecting a hard hitting girlcrush song. This song is in fact a masterpiece. What many ppl don't realize is how poorly Hobgoblin was recieved in Korea and some were hating on CUBE and CLC for switching to badass and said it didn't suit them and reminded too much of 4Minute. Given how much hate CLC and CUBE got during Hobgoblin era it is not that surprising that CUBE tried to switch concepts again to try to keep the koreans satisfied. Actually here is the real tea: The huge attention Hobgoblin got was mainly from 4nias (4Minute fans) who saw their faves get disbanded and their attention turned to CLC, that had released a song which had a 4Minute vibe all over it (because of Hyunas involement in the production and style). And CLC got a lot of hate from 4nias too. So CUBE and maybe even CLC thought, "what's the point in continuing this concept when ppl are just hating on us?" "Sometimes I still think this song and title 'Where are you' is meant for the future fans of CLC, the fans that CLC expected to see, but who never came." ahhhh this makes me so emotional!!!!!!!
But the concept is more in line with most Apink concepts as it is a feminine concept rather than a cutesy concept, Apink however has to maintain the innocent concept of their’s since they’re married to it, however CLC aren’t married to a concept so if they want they can induce their dance with body rolls too. P.S. apparently when CLC debuted Cube wanted them to be a marriage between the 4Minute and Apink concepts (both groups were part of Cube at the time)
more retrowave than vaporwave, but when the song came out the comments section of the MV on this channel and CJENMMUSIC was that "cube shouldn't have released the song in summer" "it's too slow for summer" that's why I commented what I commented, but yes genre-wise the song has a lot of 80s elements
Steeb_ it was generally disappointing TBH especially after the huge hype they created from Hobgoblin, they should’ve proceeded with Black Dress then La Vie En Rose after

the whole point was to show a diff side of clc. it was to prove that yes despite the fact that yes clc can pull of concepts like hobogoblic, they also can pull off soft, ballad like concepts
As a Red Velvet stan, if they sang this song it would be a big hit. This songs a huge bop. CLC has everything from visuals to talent. Sad that people can’t recognize this
Yeah, I always says this. Groups such as RV are praise for versatility but people justify how clc was slept on cause they didnt stick to a concept. I really hate how favoritism and popularity works. No shade to red velvet, the real problems are k fans who slept on real talent.
it's a crime that this masterpiece has such little views :/ honestly, this has been my favorite title track by them since pepe, not to mention every song on the mini album was good. Smh clc is so slept on
This song was ahead of its time. If they bring this back in a special stage or something like that, especially because right now 80's synth pop (i dunno about genre plz dont fight me) is trending nowadays, this would finally get the recognition it deserves. 😭
Yeah this style is really in trend right now. This song literally came back to my mind today when I had not listened since (last year? idk but many time).
@@simeonkim4272 Yeah, I hear it but I think it's more synth-pop. I know City Pop is very popular lately, but not all old genres can be called City Pop.
People clearly don’t have taste. This is like an 80's ballad song which is really really nice to hear... Still streaming to get this to at least 2 million. Come on Cheshires, we can do it! It has so little views
This song takes me back to 1988 to 1990 when here in the United States there were girl groups like "EXPOSE,^ " THE COVER GIRLS " ^ SEDUCTION" was all over the radio.
for people who's leaving comment saying this song is bad, the song is not bad. It's just your music preference is different. But thanks for watching anyways it adds to the views.
this is actually one of my favourite clc songs i also notice that many international fans are more into bad ass + girl crush concepts, so after hogoblin they must've decided to not stan them anymore i personally was catched by this son especially, i liked them a lot when they had their debut + kinda drifted off after their concept change but i'm now in love with all of their songs!! i like it when a group can pull of multiple concepts
Right i didnt know if it was 90's or 80's and im living for it since now a days you dont really see alot of groups trying to add other eras inspired music
i’ve said this a million times but i’ll say it again- THIS SONG WAS AHEAD OF ITS TIME. However!! Cube was not smart for releasing it as a title track after Hobgoblin . Being a fan when this was released was depressing.. But it’s a top 5 clc song for me
Agreed. Looking back I still wonder why Cube didn’t follow up with something similar to hobgoblin. It arguably got the group more recognition than any of their previous releases. Sometimes I feel like they purposefully shot this group in the foot.
@@honesttostrangers7687 hobgoblin only succesfull in internasional but flopped in korea. That's why they released this song to catch Korean fans attention
I feel like it's unfair though... I'm confident that if GFriend did the same concept and song, people wouldn't hate it as much as they are on Clc? They would be shocked of how great the song was..
Queen Taeyeon's butt is my life Thank you so much!!! Great to see a non-stan supporting, especially when many "Cheshire's" are complaining about the concept change instead of watching and streaming.
This music video is so aesthetically and artistically pleasing to me. I love the symbolism how different people wear the red dress, the transitions, and little details are so good!
yeah, compared to other music videos from them I was very pleased with this(hair, outfits, makeup, position). If she is your bias I totally understand why you would want her to shine more.
MelodyCheshiresUniverse I know they charted in Sorbida (?) and bugs for over a day and charted on naver for 12 hours but I can't remember what the others were
music charts like soribada, olleh, naver, genie & bugs although they didn't charted on melon or mnet it's still okay their peaks are Olleh - #5 Genie - #56 Bugs - #52 Soribada - #73 Naver - #92
for people that say that this is a CUTE CONCEPT, the story of this MV and the lyrics have a dark and sad story, The girls first were happy because they waited for love for so long until they finally got it. This guy wanted to meet them on the same park as the music video, and the girls waited and kept waiting for him, but he never showed, that's why they say "where are you?" multiple times on the song. (In the chorus part). If you search the lyrics, YeEun's rap says: "without you, this has no sense". The girls then felt sad and they falled in depression, until they ended by taking their own lifes. AND THAT'S WHY they are like, so pale and also dressing up with just white clothes at the final part of the MV, which makes us understand that those are the girl's ghosts, waiting for the reunion with the guy that left them alone (wow it's been a year- anyways yea ill leave this as a theory because i went over the line with the depression thing)
this is a huge stretch lmao if you actually read the lyrics, its just a sad song about heartbreak and being ghosted. what you wrote sounds like an angsty pre-teen fanfic
[EDITED TO INCLUDE RELEASES UP TO DEVIL] To those of you who say “ugh High Heel is stupid CLC doesn’t do cute” “ugh OT5 is better” “ugh” lemme explain this. All of the MVs have a story! And they show that the girls obviously aren’t great at being perfectly girly- no matter how hard they try. I’ll explain: the story of the MVs (not the actual lyrics, but the MV) Pepe shows that the original 5 are a group of friends, not interested in boys, just having fun together without influence of the outside world. Even if the confusing, Alice in Wonderland style, house, the girls are close and still figure out how to have fun regardless. Like shows Seungyeon seeing a cute boy for the first time, and becoming absolutely lovesick. Her friends stumble upon here and are confused about her behavior. When she explains, her friends are still baffled, but want to help her get the boy. So they try to track him down, and when they do, they get Seungyeon dressed up and does her makeup- buuuuut Seungyeon doesn’t know how to act in front of the boy, and ends up embarrassing herself. High Heel shows the girls, with the addition of two new friends, all trying to become girly-girls. It shows the whole process of them learning to bake and make tea, try to learn how to do cute makeup and hair, walking in high heels... but they all suck at it. Sorn and Seungyeon fall over trying to wear heels. Yeeun made awful tea and Macarons. Yujin getting the worst makeover by her friends. They all realize how much they don’t suit the girly style, but continue practicing because they want to be what they think boys like. In the end, they perfect the girly techniques- but find out how pricey (literally) being a girl is. No Oh Oh shows the 7 falling back into their old style, but still trying to be more charismatic in a girly sense. Sorn practices in front of a mirror different cute poses, but is clumsy. Yeeun seems to be wearing a big purse for the first time- and ends up getting the strap caught on a door. She gets flustered at her failed first attempt and is shown frustrated on her couch. Seungyeon cooks up a nice sandwich at home, and starts to bite into it- but hesitates. Elkie seems to try to be an edgy girl at school, although it’s not exactly her usual type. Yeeun burns her phone, realizing she doesn’t want to worry about getting a call from a boy. Seungyeon eats her sandwich, because she understands she doesn’t have to be tidy or stingy with food to impress. Sorn puts on bright blue mascara, because she doesn’t want to be a dainty girl who does poses- she wants to be bold. The girls finally start to understand that they don’t need to change who they are. Hobgoblin shows that, as the girls have gotten older, their style has matured as well. They like being bold, sensual, and dark- not dainty little girls who only want to impress boys. They seem to really throw that standard down the trash with this MV. After finding who they really want to be, they decide to break it to the world- crush stereotypes and say “we will be who we want whether you like it or not” and “want me for who I am, not who you expect me to be”. They all have weapons, and start destroying TVs, mirrors, busts, because they all represent things that society expects of them. TV has many stereotypes about Asian women, how they should act, hosts who pick on those who stray from the standard. Many girls stare in the mirror to pick on their own insecurities, and spend hours trying to “fix” what society has told them is wrong. The busts are of famous legendary women (I’m assuming), that are possibly symbols of purity, elegance, virginity. The girls destroy those to show that they’re breaking from the mold, and flowering into grown women tired of standards. Where Are You? shows the girls’ soft side, because everyone has one. The girls are still sensitive, and don’t want you to be too intimidated- because that’s not what their message is. They want people to realize that they aren’t just girly girls, or edgy punks, or tomboys. They want people to realize that they have variety, multiple colors, and while they were dark before, that’s just their style. They had to get your attention somehow, and show they are just any girl group- they’re CLC. They’re asking “where are you?” because after Pepe, when they changed concepts, so many people left and ignored CLC. Hobgoblin came, and while many people loved it, there were still those who complained because “they can’t stick to a concept”. CLC wanted people to understand with this that they’re are very versatile. While they are independent, they’re still sensitive, and hear what you say about them. Black Dress shows the girls’ peak maturity. It’s another sensual and dark video expressing the girls’ growth. They don’t care to impress anymore. Eunbin pole dances, and while usually pole dancers are performing for strangers to entertain- she’s performing for her friends. She knows she doesn’t have to impress them, because they’re already close. She’s simply expressing her artistry and her friends are admiring her. Yeeun stares in the mirror at her hair- not because she’s wondering if it’ll show her femininity, but because she’s wanting to cut it all off. She worries at first because she knows society will correlate her cutting her hair, as cutting off her femininity. So she waits, probably for advice from her friends. We see the girls walking around with scissors, black feathers, both considered a bit intimidating. There’s another female bust that ends up getting covered in black paint- another symbol of purity being diminished because a girl doesn’t have to be pure to be good. Yeeun gets the push to go to the mirror again, and although I said we weren’t looking at the lyrics, in her rap she even says “why are you hesitating, follow your instincts” right before she makes the initial chop. Distance is the other side of Black Dress- the girls are confident in their concepts, and love their evergrowing fan base. But, they can’t help but wonder, are they really doing what their fans want? They can’t help but want to do what others want, despite how much they themselves love their work. They still feel tied to their past criticisms, as shown by the girls being bound. “I try to ignore it.” They try to look away from the hate, though, by blindfolding themselves and sticking to each other. They’re human, though, and words hurt, no matter how much they distance themselves from it. No comes after the girls have contemplated everything, they’ve sat and thought about the words of their fans and critics alike. By now, they’ve fully accepted that they aren’t going to adhere to what others want. They aren’t going to make themselves fit into the tastes and expectations of others. “What I do with me is my business, I love me.” CLC is tired of trying to wear “red lip, earrings, heels” what everyone wants them to. They’ll wear these things if they please, and so they do- but it’s only for themselves. ME further goes with the theme of No, showing CLC’s confidence in experimenting with their concepts and appearances. They’re basking in their new love for themselves, and they’re telling everyone that they’re nothing wrong with liking yourself and calling yourself beautiful. “Do it like me, follow me follow me.” The girls are telling their fans, audience, and even critics that they should love themselves as well. Devil is playful, teasing, fun, on the surface, but it’s got a much deeper message. “I tried to be polite, but why do you keep bothering me?” Critics are still there, although much less than before, and the girls are questioning why these critics are still bothering to try to intimidate and provoke them when it no longer works. By now, CLC is done being sweet and polite to these people. They’re ready to tell them what’s what, and that they’re no longer going to appear cute. The video shows the girls tricking each other, hurting each other, but then getting revenge in return. They’re basically saying “you might push me down, insult me, and say I’m no good, but you’ve truly just made me stronger, and I’m not going down without a fight”. The story so far is that CLC doesn’t dress to impress anymore- they do what they want and enjoy what they do, but still want people to understand that they have feelings. They listen to criticisms, and take it to heart, but still want to be individuals with their true personalities. They acknowledge the girly concepts were confusing and awkward, because it’s not what they wanted to do. They knew typically people loved the cutesy concepts, and wanted to try it- but it was obvious it wasn’t their style, so they went back to their roots of dark and sensual. When people complained of yet another concept change, they had to explain that they were listening. Then shown that this is just who they are- versatile girls who love the boldness of being unique individuals. -Syno
I still don't get why you want them to stick to only one concept. What even is variety and trying out styles? CLC is a fairly new group, of course they're shooting in the dark and exploring all possibilities that makes them feel comfortable. I'm not a Cheshire but I'm glad they're trying out styles, both mainstream and not. Cube is giving them all these options tbh
this song is beautiful. whoever says it's bad and not worth listening to should get their ears check... i mean are y'all okay???? how can you not love this absolute masterpiece???
I think cube is trying to show what CLC is. Back when they debuted it was announced that they where the sister group of both 4minute and APink. And I think cube is trying to prove this versatility with the CRYSTAL(4minute) concept and this(APink) concept.
Nawi XXI crystal is different to mold and is strong which is strong concept while clear is purity, cleaness which is an innocent ,cute concept. Versatility is in the face of clc name
Its so bad that the whole fandom, say that where are u is an underated bop, but we don’t stream, the mv is stuck in 1.9 mlls of views, we need to wake up 🥺
When their MVs were in 1tk ofc they had bigger numbers there. That's the problem of putting them in other yt channels but it can also reach a wider audience and in fact, that happened. I'm here because I really love this song, is such a soft gem
People really out there complaining about this concept saying Hobgoblin was better and completely ignoring the fact that Pepe exists? I love this song and the concept, it suits them and they look really elegant.
I am darclua who is you Well, Pepe and Hobgoblin are fucking bops, even high heels. But tbh... This one isnt for them. I mean, I love them and appreciate every song from them but I think Hobgoblin's concept was made for them. Still love the song tho.
Yes I loved me some Pepe. I actually love the hyper cutesty side of them like Pepe & they rocked hoboglobin 😍 they can do anything and I'm still in love 😍
This song never popped up for me, i just heard about it in a reaction and looked for it. i feel like i sleep on their non-hits. This and To the Sky are both really solid. i'm going back through to find more missed gems. i never liked Pepe, so i was a bit late following them. i think Hobgoblin is their best song, inspite of it copying Hyuna's rap tone(style is fine to copy).
thinking about it now, if this was released in 2020 it would've became a hit. Especially since a lot of artists and groups are throwing it back and creating 80s and 90's inspired music. Sigh. I just wish people would open their ears and hearts to clc they deserve the world.
As a non-Cheshire and casual K-pop listener, I vote this as CLC's best comeback/concept so far. It's not too cutesy-cringey like Pepe or High Heels were, or overpowering like Hobgoblin. It's feminine, elegant, classy, natural…it matches the idea of "crystal clear" the most. The song's great, so is the dance. Hopefully they try more slow/ballad songs in the future (:
this song is one of their best songs, but int. fans would rather have hobgoblin, while korean fans would rather have high heels. but i guess only a few like this.
The Mv is so aesthetic. I am proud to say that I became a fan in the hobgoblin era but I think I love this concept even more and it suits them perfectly.
I love that 90s vibe in this song I'll have to check out the Mini Album BTW someone PLEASE create a vaporwave remix of this because this is perfect vaporwave material...
this is EXACTLY my style, i love almost anything that has 80s vibes because it reminds me of my childhood :') and the visuals are AMAZING! the girls are beautiful, their dancing is cute, the aesthetic and concept..just everything works so well together. i'm gonna stan!
this is not gfriend concept or etc...can u see it they are killing us with beautiful dance, visual I think it's more to mature not to sexy but did not stick to innocent/cute concepts
What is your honest opinion? Do you think Soyeon 's name on the credit had G-idle fans joining in and making it a success and then leave when "ME" came out? imho, i felt that "ME" was better but it fell short of a trophy.
@@billl44 No it's just people pay more attention to their girl crush concept songs. Black Dress, Hobgoblin, Me, are all getting good views because they are girl crush whereas their older or non-girl crush titles don't get any views. They're gaining popularity tho, so even with a concept change like 'Devil' they are still getting views.
I'm glad they did this concept rather than another hobgoblin type style. Not only does this show their versatility, it weeds out all the fans who only want to hear a bad ass concept and won't even look into CLC more than just hobgoblin. I've been a fan since they debuted, and I've loved every comeback so far. I love seeing how CLC can rock anything they're given by cube, and how much they've grown. I think this is their best comeback yet, but that's just me personally because I adore beautiful, chill songs I can get lost in thoughts to. And idk what anyone's smoking but this is no where near a gfriend concept. It sounds and looks way different. Go CLC. I hope they find success.
Taylor Gallaher Can't agree more!!! Tbh, I did join in hobgoblin's era, i actually love it, but I like this concept better; I find the visuals and aesthetic really pleasant and the song it's a masterpiece in my opinion.
this. although it's not the smartest move by cube indeed, i like the fact that they decided to show off their versatility by doing a totally new and different concept. while i do agree that badass concepts like hobgoblin may appeal to more fans, i personally enjoy this kind of sultry, 80s-inspired sound a lot more :)
Taylor Gallaher I don't follow CLC after I listened to that hobgoblin. That song was making them look "trying hard" but this song finally highlights their potential voices and even the songs are calm and not noisy. If they keep up w this, they may rise w their vocal. Ppl may call this a song from 80s, but they need to remember that people from wide range ages can/may like this kind of concept.
CLC is icons concepts and Queen of the kpopThis comeback is legendary because of fake fans CLC suffered a lot because they deserve a lot of win in all of their comeback I hope in their next comeback they get great attention and fame because CLC deserve it
Those pale skins. Those blank stares. The water reflection at 1:16 I have a feeling this MV is telling us that they were actually ghosts roaming the garden.
THIS is a MASTERPIECE. The music video is so aesthetic, their voices are sweet & beautiful, the choreography is elegant, and their visuals are no joke! This is simply perfection.
I hope CLC get the recognition and success they deserve. I mean all their songs released are sooo good and they are so talented. I honestly liked this song on the very first time I've heard it just like hobgoblin, pepe, etc. and that's really something to appreciate. I hope koreans and international kpop fans will love them and listen to their beautiful songs. Fighting CLC! ❤
Scarletrose23 When i say sell as well - i mean *compared to their red sides* , not *other grps sales.* Their velvet sides usually sell less than a quarter of what their red sells :( _IMO you shouldnt use just 'One of these nights' to compare but also their other velvets cos even One of these nights sold abt 1/3 of the other red sales_
ThatNORMgirl I used ootn because the other songs were in the era when they weren't popular. Even happiness didn't do well. But I see where you're coming from.
Oh my Lord... I wasn't expecting this to hit so hard, I thought this was going to sound like a 'basic' *_(notice quotation marks)_* OST. I'm so happy I heard this, issa bop, this should not have been labeled as a flop, people need to listen again, the beginning intro was just, Beautiful.
They promoted few days with this song in stages, that's why. They switched to do performances of their sidetracks: Summer Kiss and I like it , and stopped performing the song Where Are You
This title track is one of their three best tittle tracks for me. It's underrated but I love this song so much. I stan CLC since hobgoblin, and while many 'fans' left CLC with this comeback, it just made me love them even more. And free'sm it's also a great album like all clc album's.
This song 어디야?(Where are you?) of CLC is such a hidden gem. The feelings it gives, the aesthetics, the vocals shown here cannot be found anywhere else.

Why people labeled this concept as innocent? I mean am I the only one who think that this is a really mature and elegant concept?
Uneducated girl crush stans 🤦🏻♀️, this concept is more Apink LUV
actually this is sexier and more mature than Apink LUV
the dance, the body roll
CLC : who else can induce ballad with some sensual/sexiness
But the concept is more in line with most Apink concepts as it is a feminine concept rather than a cutesy concept, Apink however has to maintain the innocent concept of their’s since they’re married to it, however CLC aren’t married to a concept so if they want they can induce their dance with body rolls too.
P.S. apparently when CLC debuted Cube wanted them to be a marriage between the 4Minute and Apink concepts (both groups were part of Cube at the time)
Mature, feminine and elegant embodiment of innocence.
Not to be confused with the "cutesy" flavor of innocence portrayed in "No Oh Oh."
Only people that don't understand elegant labels it as innocent 🤷
I still don't get why people don't think this is a summer song. It is. As in, it's a lazy summer afternoon song.

This song was ahead of its time. If they bring this back in a special stage or something like that, especially because right now 80's synth pop (i dunno about genre plz dont fight me) is trending nowadays, this would finally get the recognition it deserves. 😭
Yeah this style is really in trend right now. This song literally came back to my mind today when I had not listened since (last year? idk but many time).
ig the genre is city pop
@@felizaniverseesaw City Pop is not like this. This is synth-pop, 80s music that has a retro sound in the R&B Soul genre.
@@mn8284 it is city pop, it's just more into r&b rather than jazz. you can still hear the brass there every now and then
@@simeonkim4272 Yeah, I hear it but I think it's more synth-pop. I know City Pop is very popular lately, but not all old genres can be called City Pop.
People clearly don’t have taste. This is like an 80's ballad song which is really really nice to hear... Still streaming to get this to at least 2 million. Come on Cheshires, we can do it! It has so little views
"good taste in music" doesn't exist. it's a matter of preference.
peky good point......
It is 2M now, check it out

This song takes me back to 1988 to 1990 when here in the United States there were girl groups like "EXPOSE,^
" THE COVER GIRLS "

was all over the radio.
for people who's leaving comment saying this song is bad, the song is not bad. It's just your music preference is different. But thanks for watching anyways it adds to the views.

PERFECT !!
K-pop fans hated on this so much solely bc it wasn’t girl crush like Hobgoblin but I LOOOOOOVED this since the day it came out. So dreamy
I don't understand why so many people hate this song.
This is just the definition of beautiful!!
It was because of the timing
People were expecting to get something like hobgoblin
this song followed hobgoblin, they literally lost a lot of chesires after this
this is actually one of my favourite clc songs
i also notice that many international fans are more into bad ass + girl crush concepts, so after hogoblin they must've decided to not stan them anymore
i personally was catched by this son especially, i liked them a lot when they had their debut + kinda drifted off after their concept change but i'm now in love with all of their songs!! i like it when a group can pull of multiple concepts

i’ve said this a million times but i’ll say it again- THIS SONG WAS AHEAD OF ITS TIME. However!! Cube was not smart for releasing it as a title track after Hobgoblin . Being a fan when this was released was depressing.. But it’s a top 5 clc song for me
This song is so beautiful, one of their best songs
Agreed. Looking back I still wonder why Cube didn’t follow up with something similar to hobgoblin. It arguably got the group more recognition than any of their previous releases. Sometimes I feel like they purposefully shot this group in the foot.
@@honesttostrangers7687 If Black Dress or No was released after Hobgoblin, CLC would've been so successful.

SORN'S "I never knew" IS BEAUTIFUL
UH RIGHT!?!? ITS SO SMOOTH THIS WHOLE SONG IS SO SMOOTH I LOVE IT
the most underrated song in kpop history !!!!!!
I swear
for people that say that this is a CUTE CONCEPT, the story of this MV and the lyrics have a dark and sad story,
The girls first were happy because they waited for love for so long until they finally got it. AND THAT'S WHY they are like, so pale and also dressing up with just white clothes at the final part of the MV, which makes us understand that those are the girl's ghosts, waiting for the reunion with the guy that left them alone
(wow it's been a year- anyways yea ill leave this as a theory because i went over the line with the depression thing)
Is this just a theory?
@@Elena-ib5gf no, because even the lyrics tells you the whole story (yes it is)
This is literally an angsty fanfic- q _ q Ma girlS
this is a huge stretch lmao if you actually read the lyrics, its just a sad song about heartbreak and being ghosted. what you wrote sounds like an angsty pre-teen fanfic
lmao, don't write theories saying as it's official. That was just so cringy. CLC would never lmao
[EDITED TO INCLUDE RELEASES UP TO DEVIL]
To those of you who say “ugh High Heel is stupid CLC doesn’t do cute” “ugh OT5 is better” “ugh” lemme explain this.
All of the MVs have a story! And they show that the girls obviously aren’t great at being perfectly girly- no matter how hard they try.
I’ll explain: the story of the MVs (not the actual lyrics, but the MV)
Pepe shows that the original 5 are a group of friends, not interested in boys, just having fun together without influence of the outside world.

Its so bad that the whole fandom, say that where are u is an underated bop, but we don’t stream, the mv is stuck in 1.9 mlls of views, we need to wake up 🥺

thinking about it now, if this was released in 2020 it would've became a hit. Especially since a lot of artists and groups are throwing it back and creating 80s and 90's inspired music. Sigh. I just wish people would open their ears and hearts to clc they deserve the world.

The aesthetic of this MV is amazing
WHY THIS SONG IS NOT FAMOUS, IT'S ONE OF THEIR BEST SONGS
As a non-Cheshire and casual K-pop listener, I vote this as CLC's best comeback/concept so far. It's not too cutesy-cringey like Pepe or High Heels were, or overpowering like Hobgoblin. It's feminine, elegant, classy, natural…it matches the idea of "crystal clear" the most. The song's great, so is the dance. Hopefully they try more slow/ballad songs in the future (:

Taylor Gallaher can i get an AMEN. 👏👏👏👏
Taylor Gallaher Can't agree more!!! Tbh, I did join in hobgoblin's era, i actually love it, but I like this concept better; I find the visuals and aesthetic really pleasant and the song it's a masterpiece in my opinion.
Taylor Gallaher THANK YOU
this. although it's not the smartest move by cube indeed, i like the fact that they decided to show off their versatility by doing a totally new and different concept. while i do agree that badass concepts like hobgoblin may appeal to more fans, i personally enjoy this kind of sultry, 80s-inspired sound a lot more :)
CLC deserves more...
CLC is icons concepts and Queen of the kpopThis comeback is legendary because of fake fans CLC suffered a lot because they deserve a lot of win in all of their comeback I hope in their next comeback they get great attention and fame because CLC deserve it

I have a feeling this MV is telling us that they were actually ghosts roaming the garden.
yeah!!! the song is about ghosting so it makes perfect sense
THIS is a MASTERPIECE. The music video is so aesthetic, their voices are sweet & beautiful, the choreography is elegant, and their visuals are no joke! This is simply perfection.
This is giving me nostalgic summer vibes :)

It’s about to be 2022. Y’all still need to rerelease this song.
even tho they changed their style from hobgoblin honestly, i kinda like this one lell it seems more original and unique like the velvet side of RV
That's what I was thinking.
rys s i agree its a nice song but sadly the velvet side of RV never sold as well T_T
ThatNORMgirl The velvet side of rv did sell well in Korea. That's why they had 5 wins. But international fans didn't like it as much.
Scarletrose23 When i say sell as well - i mean *compared to their red sides* , not *other grps sales.*
Their velvet sides usually sell less than a quarter of what their red sells :(
_IMO you shouldnt use just 'One of these nights' to compare but also their other velvets cos even One of these nights sold abt 1/3 of the other red sales_
ThatNORMgirl I used ootn because the other songs were in the era when they weren't popular. Even happiness didn't do well. But I see where you're coming from.
Too bad the market isn’t hot for this, instead is cluttered with girl crush concepts, would’ve loved more of this
I feel like back to 80's, when every song is so tender and so innocent
*80s
You’re right...
2024 anyone??? I miss CLC :(
Oh my Lord...
They switched to do performances of their sidetracks: Summer Kiss and I like it , and stopped performing the song Where Are You
am i the only one think's this is not cute concept but matured?
Metal Core Nope
Nah i think so too
This title track is one of their three best tittle tracks for me. It's underrated but I love this song so much. I stan CLC since hobgoblin, and while many 'fans' left CLC with this comeback, it just made me love them even more. And free'sm it's also a great album like all clc album's.
insane how in 2017 clc was given two title tracks in a row that would pass as 2022 releases
This song 어디야?(Where are you?) of CLC is such a hidden gem. The feelings it gives, the aesthetics, the vocals shown here cannot be found anywhere else.
