So to get one of the fragments you have to wait for a special eclipse event to happen and then you need have 3 other people that have the other fragments and know what they are doing and you can only do the mechanism for the door when it’s an eclipse (that’s if there isn’t some troll flipping through celestial totems keeping an eclipse for happening) and then if you finally get in you realize that all the good rods are locked behind a ridiculously high lvl caps like 600+… This is just tedious for the sake of it being so, 90% of players will most likely never even get in the ruins let alone get the rods. Most of the rods are SUPER niche and the stats overall are kind disappointing.. I’ll stick to my rotd tbh. It’s really dumb that you are basically forced to either buy xp bonuses or use macros to gain levels before you even think about crafting these rods..
Got into the forbidden archive after like an hour and 30 mins of the event being up im pretty sure you just have a skill issue, also i dunno about you but i actually think the super niche rods are super cool instead of just "wow luck stat is big number"

I cannot get the Ancient Purple Fragment for the life of me. They made this update as tedious and as time consuming as possible to extra max cash out of it. Yeah, the Megalodon and other worthwhile things are cool and all. But to even get to the crafting station, you need four people, due to which, I have been server hopping for an hour now. NOBODY wants to do it. And even if an average player is somehow able to get in, the good rods are locked behind a rediculously huge level cap. I'm currently level 194, and I won't be able to rapidly progress unless I macro every night perfectly, and hope to god I won't disconnect someway. This in itself is already a huge elctricity waste. So it's just not worth it without exploits (which I strictly refrain from) hence, I won't do it.
