Yes, he doesn't have a proper training but he is in the survival show. Because if you really want to be an idol you need to show how talented you are and how you shine. They practice the song more like 1 or 2 weeks, so that's enough for him to do it correctly. However, he is still really lacking and I hope he improves.

@TSG 302W I completely agree with you in that the way the Korean mentors are treating him is unfair. I think they really need to gain a basic understanding of the systems in Thailand in that there are virtually no idols. They cannot equate a lack of skill to a lack of effort when Thailand doesn't offer structures which allow for them to hone their skills. Their view that being bad = no effort is really simplistic and ignorant when you take into consideration the difference between Thai and Korean idol industries. I think the only reason why Santa is as good as he is because of his passion, youth and natural talent. I think he just has a good understanding of how his body moves. On the other hand, if you look at Yaya in the Wabi Sabi kpop covers, he isn't actually that bad (at least in comparison to this signal song). I think it just shows that Yaya really just does not have the fundamentals required and that he could improve if he just had time. I wish the mentors and trainees wouldn't just assume the worst of foreign trainees when they're unaware of the type of conditions they pursue their dreams under.
I appreciate how hard he is trying, but you know some people are just not born with it and not destined for it. Seeing this, at this point, I can say that he is not supposed to be there. I am sorry. I'm gonna say this because I've liked Yaya ever since Love By Chance and eagerly awaited any activity he was in. He shouldn't be here. He should devote his time and energy into acting, which is what he's good at. Or hell, I'd even say his singing isn't too bad. But idols gotta have the whole package, and this dancing is... 😬Of course there's the issue of other trainees more skilled and ready than him that are getting lower ranks or already got eliminated, which isn't fair. But I also worry that this will just be detrimental to his image. People that don't know Yaya only see some guy who isn't good at this ranking high because he has a big fanbase that'll support him no matter what, which in turn could net him a lot of haters and harassment. It's already hard seeing so many people in the comments saying that he's terrible, but I can't exactly disagree if I'm being honest with myself... But hey, maybe I'm jumping the gun? I'm so glad he left the show cos as lovely as he is, he really has no talent as an idol and it would have been unfair if he'd made it in to the group just because he's a popular actor. In saying that, he tried so hard each time and he put in so much effort so I really commend him on that and he probably could improve. It's already hard seeing so many people in the comments saying that he's terrible, but I can't exactly disagree if I'm being honest with myself...
But hey, maybe I'm jumping the gun? Maybe in the next episode, he has some kind of awakening and drastically improves? Maybe...?
i couldnt agree more.. and its quite unfair for those better performance than him. ik yaya has some great talents but being an idol trainee you must be good at both singing and dancing, i just wish he trained longer before coming to FB coz people are bashing him on what they see now. i do really hope hell become better so as to justify his current rank position.. wish him luck.

I'm so glad he left the show cos as lovely as he is, he really has no talent as an idol and it would have been unfair if he'd made it in to the group just because he's a popular actor. In saying that, he tried so hard each time and he put in so much effort so I really commend him on that and he probably could improve. I hope that if he decides to follow that path, that he really practices hard and improves a lot!

Me da ternura ver como baila, se esta esforzando pero como no tiene claras las bases del baile, le cuesta más. Espero que mejore con el entrenamiento que le dan en el programa. Yaya tu puedes. Debuta junto a Santa.
