I ran across this build more than a year ago. You had 2 videos posted. I watched them and then stopped so I could binge them like Netflix. I have really enjoyed the last two days. Great work. Nice attention to detail. I will be taking on the same project soon. I promised my wife I would buy her one for college graduation. She was a stay at home mom for our two sons for ten years. Gave up her career for us. So leadt I can do is build her the dream car. Plus my sons are 12 and 9 so it will be good for them to learn and great memories for me. Im sure they will have stories to tell about dad throwing tools and dropping the f-bomb. All in good fun. Thanks for the videos.
Good to see you back at it, been a min . haha. Going to sit and watch. I got Cowl done on my 68 so now starting to prime some stuff. lol Motor going in soon. Ok, need to stop typing and watch your video. bless you!! lol
As a safety professional for over 35 years, I want to commend you for giving a brief safety talk on the use of respirators and the use of organic vapor filters. For everyone; respirator fit is also important and make sure you are clean shaven so you have a proper seal between the respirator and your face. Also make sure you clean the respirator before and after use. Keep up the good work.
I've thought about that, but I've heard of so many people having issues with EFI. Any recommendations? I always see people using Holley Sniper systems.
i just picked up a 65 mustang coupe too man I'm starting basically from nothing too but i got alot of the parts, im starting with the fuel tank and stuff but its cool that i can come see how youre doing with yours too, its looking good man.
Boa tarde Van, sou do Brasil e acompanho seus vídeos, sou apaixonado por mustangs e aqui no Brasil são muitos raros e caros. Mas ainda sonho em ter um nessa mesma configuração. Bom trabalho 😊
That's exactly what I'm using, the Fortress 27 Gallon, 200 PSI. It seems to be keeping ok so far as long as you bump the pressure down on the air tank output and then set a pressure gauge at the end of the line to bring it down even lower.
@@VanHoutenBuilds Nice! I randomly stumbled upon your mustang build when I was looking at getting a mustang but then I got the j10. I to then go back and watch the whole series can’t wait to see it finished and excited for the next build too. Surprised your channel isn’t bigger you make some great videos 👍
USE A GOOD MASK!!!!! That stuff will HURT YOUR LUNGS!!! I was coughing up blood bc I used the wrong mask spent 2 weeks in the hospital… when I sprayed my clear coat.. please do yourself a solid… USE A GOOD MASK… I’m 30 years old if I would have been 60 I don’t believe I would have made it honestly

It has been an amazing experience watching you restore this car. I can’t believe we’re coming to an end already. Great work as usual!
Thanks so much! It's been a journey, but it's not over yet. Still some more videos to come!

Finally another video hhhh i really missed that mustang ❤
You need a longer sanding block. 14:14
Yup, you are going to have ripples that the little block just didnt see. Get a 24" block.
The Mustang is looking good 👍 Keep up the good work man
Glad you’re still at it! Looking forward to the next one, and to see you on the road soon! 🎉
I have been waiting for weeks to a month !! Finally we continue on this journey once more, im excited to see the full build

Well done. Well done. 👍
Still following the journey! Love to see the progress. Hope you are better and had a great time in Ireland!🇮🇪
Thanks for following! Yes, Ireland was amazing, Dingle and Kilkenny were our favorite stops during the trip!
holy crap another good video
Thanks!
Welcome back
I’d say after it’s running and driving I’d put efi on it to make it more practical. But I’d enjoy it for awhile before taking it apart again

Thought you were gone. Glad to see the Mustang getting finished up.
Nice progress!

Bro, you are not f*cking around. Doing it the right way!
Curious what compressor you’re running. I have plans to do some paint jobs and I was looking at getting a Fortress 27 gal compressor.

@@VanHoutenBuildsgreat thanks. It’s looking great I’d love to have a 67-68 mustang someday. Right now I’m working on an 84 jeep j10
@@owenhostler6940 That's awesome! I was born in 84' haha. I used to have a 92' YJ, drove it for 10+ years. I wish I still had it, it was so much fun.
