Looks great and some seriously different setup than I am used to. The shocks are pretty cool! I know you are dying to run it, sorry the weather is garbage still. Looking forward to seeing it on the track! Take care and have a great weekend!
I picked up somewhere, on an upload these are sort of a softer ride, for all those hard dirt surfaces now, thanks for the nice upload and tips, video quality excellent, would be interesting to get a segment on the hopups specific to this, not sure if they are issued out or not, thanks, mine in the mail over here
A very good car, i had a cougar, two team cars and then two works, First works stolen from west london national taken as a spare car my first season of nationals. I hadnt funds to buy another until cecil found out what had happened and supplied a replacement at a price i could pay. I used that one to win the tms indoor national and still have it. Re re as you say parts easy so send it.
Hello, this brings back memories,I bought my first Schumacher Cougar, cost me £90 I think from Antics, and raced it,after a few months I changed it to the Cougar 2 with the parts.
@@goingupchuck6909 yes and no, its a better car, but an average driver like prob wouldnt be quicker, a few mates have asked if they should sell the classic and buy a works. My answer, if you can afford it, do it. But running the classic and upgrade as you go on would be my answer
quality of parts vintage 80ies vs today's re-re. Have lots of Kyosho and Tamiya re-re's, all nib in the box so I can't say how they are but I read that quality no more as good as at the originals for Team Asociated RC10, but what about Schumacher ?. I would like this Worlds car from Masami.
@@rccarloverluxembourg718 i cant comment on the quality compared to an original. But some parts on most buggys need a bit of fine tuning. With schumacher i just wish they would use Hex hardware
@@lo2713 yes I was astonished to see a Philips screw, after you purchase Hudy or Arrowmaxx or good other tools, it's a delight to no more work with Philips screws except for all the Tamiya cars where the Tamiya original tools are also a perfect match, have them for 2 weeks now :-)
@@vintageschumacher they looked beefed up ? But they have been tested by someone i know. Its good that og ones will still be sought after for resto’s. But then there allso gonna pricey still
Thanks for the great walk through of the build and rundown on the car!

Nice build and thanks for the tips 🤝 Can't wait to see it running 🤝
Perfect timing, just in the process of building mine 😊
Very nice mate 😀
Kyosho was always my bag, but Schumacher kits to me always felt they were a bit more the racer's choice.
@@TastierBackInThe80s yeah, but the jj ultima could hold its own against younger cars, i think kyosho have done some great work
