Thank you, Lila, for featuring Simone Rizkallah and her testimony on your podcast. We tend to get so myopic in our view of Christianity in the US. We are so hyper focused on how our faith is being besieged by American politics and secular culture, while failing to realize that Christianity is under a much graver threat around the world. We, in the US, may have to deal with venomous rhetoric from pundits, deal with a legal system that is not amenable to our morality, and an entertainment industry that is antithetical to our beliefs, but it is rare that we will lose our life and limb for the beliefs we espouse. Christians in other parts of the world have their lives under threat. I appreciate you doing your part in bringing wider awareness to the persecution of our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
I just listened to this 9-month old video conversation after the tragic events in Nagorno Kharabagh. Things have changed since than: 120K Armenians from that disputed area have been forced to leave and the century old Armenian land and culture has been deserted and fell in the hands of the Azeris. I like to make a very important distinction however between different Muslim countries and cultures. Yes, Turkey and Azerbaijan are 2 Muslim countries and people who have been and are enemies of the Armenians, thus committing genocide against Christian Armenians. All other Muslim countries, except Pakistan, had helped thousands of Armenian survivors. Large number of them were welcomed in countries such as Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, etc. So, please don’t put all Muslim countries and Muslim people in the same pot. We don’t want to be ungrateful to them for opening their countries for us in the time of need. I was expecting to hear from at least one of you, that the Israeli government had not recognized officially the Armenian Genocide from 1915; especially, after going to a similar tragedy themselves. (Not only that, but lately Israeli settlers have attacked the Armenian Quarters in Old Jerusalem that has been there for many hundred years ago. Actually, it’s a fact that Armenian presence in Jerusalem dates back to the 4th century.) I think since many things have changed in the last 9 months when you met, I would propose that you meet again and update the facts and let the world know about the most current situation in Armenia and the are around it. It isn't hard to believe people quickly go to hatred. During c19 people were quick to say unvaccinated should be killed or denied care. Relationships were broken over a medical intervention, really over will you join the cult or not?

Jihad against the kuf'r (infidel, or, simply put, non-muslim) is fard (compulsory) for all Muslim men/boys, from the age of puberty and at the same time, saying beautiful things or acting in a beautiful way to promote Islam is also compulsory / binding on all Muslims, even if they know the contrary is the case, deep down in their hearts. The umma may be unaware of this, but the ulemma SURELY knows. These are two of the key schemes by which the religion of peace has been spreading ever since it's inception: kill non-members, and then deny it, show some "love" to keep them in the dark about who the real culprit is. Unfortunately, many of the infidels fall for this trick, and this waxes the evil stronger.

The fact that not one single country is standing up to protect Armenia really discourages me. It is the year 2023 and no one will do what is right to save these people? This makes me angry and sad. Whoever the people are out there that are able to do something about this and aren't should be ashamed. At the very least, these people should be allowed to leave their country to re-establish somewhere else since they insist on taking their land.

Israel supported Azerbajdzjans aggression on Armenia. Israeli weapons literally helped the azeris win the 2020 war against Armenia and yet I see many eastern christians supporting Israel.

Christian History is suppressed in the West. The western ideal is Greece and Rome secular and Godless. Armenia 2024 is 95% Armenian 95% Christian.
