how come all of a sudden there are tones of random chinese brands infiltrating our market ? you should do a video on this. Back then it wasnt feasible because of the taxing system to protect Plotong .... but now all of a sudden, you cant keep track with the car maker brand names already... Almost going the route of our phones... back then you could name all the phone brands with 1-2 hands ( 10 fingers ) , these days every other day a new brand is popping up , interestingly enough , chinese love to have multiple brands within a brand ( sister brands ) , i wont be surprised if thats the case with their car makers as well.
Chinese Cars cost very cheap to manufacture.... If you relate to many goods having "made in China" tags you will immediately know one... Even with M'sia crazy tax rates for cars China cars are still relatively cheap for the specs and feel they offer.. this alone tells you that cars are absurdly cheap to produce by China...
Chery was in the market long before, this brand is Chery. 0ther than that, only a few pure EV brands enter due to EV incentives a few yrs ago, before they would cost 2x. No new ICE brands entered the market. So, if u have common sense u can answer your own question.
@@ectas741 no new ICE brand because ICE is dead end. no new tech already. Every DVVT VVT IVTEC already explored and patented by Germans, Japanese, Americans etc. Patented everything from engine to gearbox.
@@zeroxzero159 everything is cheap in China because they are industrialized. Everything in Africa is expensive, on the other end of spectrum. Only advancement in technology allows massive production of anything, hence lowing the cost.
I know why you don't 'find' any sharp edge with your finger in this car: they have adopted this concept and this standard feature from the making of chinese classic wood (rose wood and the like) furniture.
I check for the price from China website, J7 should be at 130-160k across 6 spec. Top spec for sure under 160k(155,900 I guess 😂). For what I know the top spec AWD confirmed come in and one FWD spec will come in. (Guess 140k 🤔) O5 - 120k T7 - 130k J7 - 140k (FWD) J7 - 155k (AWD) T8 - 160k Then prices range will cover completely. Wait the Jeacoo 8 and Exeed come in for above 160-220k market 😂
Was about to buy the new Range Rover Sport.. then I saw the center screen is larger. So I'm going with this instead.
awesome look
Love this car..Just waiting for it to be launched

Even in the US market, EV from China will take over the market. I don't see the problem here it will happen eventually.

if it is 2.0T with DCT, i think it may be closed to or slightly cross the 200k mark. But since this is 1.6T, maybe 180k?
I saw somebody leak the starting price is 160k

Why did they miss the black roof liner. Cream is out dated and doesn’t work with kids nor my eyes when you surrounded by a black dash and seats
They make great donuts so I’m expecting this to be great too
the lady is the vice president of Jaecoo Malaysia
150k
200k rsp .. i ll w8 2 years, bought it 2nd hand for 80-100k. 😂
140k ??
160k and above
The FWD spec may be at 140k, i guess. But for the top spec AWD will be near 160k
Pintu dia tutup macam land rover defender ..
Memang... These Chinese manufacturers suka ciplak western innovations.

The big screen is mind bogglingly disturbing. I don't want to drive with that straight on my face.
160k
She is referring to what??
The brand is called Jaecoo from the German word Jaeger + Cool meaning Hunter + Cool 😁
