Actually this was the first music biopics that made me feel like they were rushing through it. That's why I was so glad when Wu-Tang decided to do a series. The biggie movie does seem like a VH1 documentary where they just run through important parts of his life with dramatization and re-enactment scene
Yeah because his girlfriend at the time didn't get pregnant when he was a teen he was 21. His daughter was in his Juicy when she was between 8 months and a year old
Pac's and NWA was rushed and largely fabricated. I think Notorious still was better.
@@josephtaylor-kennedy1420 They were both rushed and didn't have things in it that we didn't already know and the people that were apart of their lives didn't have any input in the movie. The movie was clearly condensed to fit the 90 min run time cuz like I said before they had biggie finding out his girlfriend was pregnant when he was in highschool and in reality that's far from the truth he was in his early 20s when Teyanna was born. The money and time was there for them to take their time and get the movie right.

You never disappoint, Primm! Honestly, most biopics are trash. It's usually just some producers tryna cash in on somebody's legacy instead of telling a compelling story about their life. That's why documentaries are better. 🤷🏿♂️
I agree! Many biopics are “meh.” They cram a person’s entire life into a two-hour movie. It’s no better than a Wikipedia page.
Instead, Hollywood should focus on a key event/common human trait. Take us on an emotional rollercoaster with that person. What do we learn about them/ourselves?
