This is a stashback video from last year when Mark and I went to a church rummage sale and an estate sale. I thought you might like getting out today to some sales! Thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing, Vickie ~ Avante Avenue
I have given myself a ban on sales and thrift stores for a while. til I can dig out of what we already have.
I hear you! Hard to do. 👍
Love the scenic drives! Great finds at the estate sale🎉. Thanks again for another wonderful video ♥️
It is so beautiful in that area! Last fall, we drove it as far as we could from TN to OH! Glad you enjoyed. Thanks Clarissa! 🙂❤️👍
WOW!! I LOVED THAT ESTATE SALE!! You did such a good job being picky and selecting only high value items! It's so hard to do that when surrounded by 1,000 cutsie $10-$15 value items. Great job! Love this video.
Love that! Thank you Hilde! It was challenging. So much stuff. So many cute things. Always fun though. I love the hunt as well as the find. 🙂❤️👍
What a great Estate Sale, thanks for taking me along !!!
Thanks for joining us Lisa!
Enjoyed the views. Pretty scenery. You are much more disciplined than me! I could not have left that box with the crochet and embroidery behind. 😁
Yes, I did leave many things behind. Some of which I already have some and others that I know from past experience are not worth as much as what I’d like for resell. I have a whole tote of vintage doilies that I’ve had a hard time parting with. Thanks Roxie! 🙂❤️👍
It was nice seeing footage from such a lovely day and through that cute town. That last estate sale had so many nice things & I loved the 70s avocado kitchen. Thanks for the video!
Glad you enjoyed! Yes, that kitchen was retro cool! 🙂❤️👍
So fun! Can't wait for garage sale and church sale season!
That’s great! I’m so ready too!!! Thanks Julie! 🙂❤️😉
I am enjoying all of your money saving tips! The food looks so good!
Thank you Annette! 🙂❤️👍
Wow, you guys are amazing!! What an eye (eyes) for bargains, even after everything was already picked through. I love watching the prices right along with the shopping video. I always guess wrong about them.
Love that! It wasn’t easy! Lots of things to eliminate. Glad you like my format. Thanks Pat! 🙂❤️😉
Great Finds :) I am in NY looking forward to spring and yard sales starting again
Thank you Pame! Me too!!! 🙂❤️👍
I saw several things at that estate sale in Nicklesville that I would have be tempted by for sure.
Yes, I saw many good things too! In my early days of reselling, I would buy most anything
that appeared to be vintage. I’ve had to be become more selective over the years. While just about everything has value, we don’t have room for everything!
Glad to see that you are commenting again. I saw a comment that I was going to reply to later, and then it disappeared. I thought maybe you didn’t like something in the video. Glad to see you’re back. Thanks Denise! 🙂❤️👍
I had that wooden spice rack for years.
I find them fairly frequently but they are often an odd size to pack. Thanks Maggie!
That was a metal Youngstown kitchen. Wow. And the table with the elephant, there was a piece of pottery on the far right edge. I’m going to need you to go back and show me that thing. I need the whole box of crocheted doilies too. Why , I do not know!!!! lol I was so relieved to see that you grabbed up the Frankoma. My local Goodwill had a nice set that I would’ve bought for myself, but I’m trying to scale back, and when I comped it, it didn’t look like it was worth me buying and flipping. In particular, I wasn’t looking forward to trying to ship it. It was there for a long time, and I had a conversation with the manager and mentioned it in passing, and I have a hunch it went to their auction site, because I told her it wasn’t getting the audience it deserved.
When I grew up, we didn’t have an avocado green kitchen (ours was white metal cabinets) in the 50s-60s. In the 70s, we had wood cabinets and an avocado green stove and refrigerator for decades.
There are so many things still left at that sale. Many had damage and many had less value than what I was looking for. Frankoma isn’t worth as much as what I understand it used to be but we have sold some pieces so for $15 we bought the set. Due to the weight, I decided to sell them separately.
You’re the second person to mention the doilies! I already have a tote of them at home, that I’ve been apprehensive to part with. I’ve always loved doilies!
Don’t encourage the Goodwill to hold back to good stuff! LOL. They already do enough of that with what they hold to sell on their websites.
Thanks for coming along with us, Jill and for commenting! 🙂❤️👍
@@AvanteAvenue I watch you a lot as I just became a reseller , in earnest, on January 1 of this year. So I got on the reseller bandwagon and watch a lot of resellers on RUclips. I’m a big RUclips fan anyway because I don’t watch TV. I am actually originally from Youngstown, had a Youngstown kitchen in white and at one point, my mother, who had horrible taste, did have them painted green and I do believe we had green floral contact paper on some of them for a while. Unfortunately, she did take out a few upper cabinets and replace with wood, and eventually there was a green refrigerator as well. I am very fond of metal kitchens, though. I specifically watch you for the packing videos. Last night I was shipping out a Polish plate and a butter dish. That butter dish ended up being packed in a huge box and weighed over 3 pounds. I even Frankenboxed! I did not think packing a simple butter dish was going to require three hours, two attempts and a nap included.LOL I agree about Goodwill. Our conversation started out because they had overcharged me 80 some dollars, and luckily, she recognized the mistake as very obviously a mistake, as it had happened the prior week. I think I was mostly worried about the Frankcoma getting broken or chipped in that store. I didn’t like their placement. Love your videos and enjoy riding along from El Paso, Texas!
I have discovered that young buyers love crazing!
That’s great news!!! Thanks Maureen! 🙂❤️👍

Thanks for subbing and welcome to our channel Carol! I have lot of "playlists" set up for all kinds of things including pack and ship.
I'm trying to find a video of yours that explained how to list several items in one listing. I think it was ornaments. I have about 20 Harley Davidson pins and would like to put them together so buyers can choose more than one.
Can you point me to the video I'm speaking of?
