wolf depends on deathmatch because his castle is expensive to build properly and will lose too often when starting too close againist an opponent like snake lol. Wolf needs to be rich to be strong, otherwise will lose to lower tier bots as snake, wazir and few other cases that are "easier"
Pretty Weak Castle of Lionheart and Wolf, Sheriff has like double the eco on Weapons as Wolf+Lionheart combined. May have rematched for better choices of castles. But old vanilla castles can sometimes be more of a nostalgia. Great Vid though :)
AI's lack in defensive behavior a lot. I would have made the condition: Someone sieges bot 1 => Bot 1 does not initiate any siege. Also, regarding the attacks - too much emphasis on melee units. Bots would have been much more destructive with hordes of ranged units, especially because the latter are cheaper. European archers are cheap even if you don't produce bows. 150 of them is very formidable force against any of castle defences, while 150+ army of elite melee units evaporates in/under fire. Also ranged units will be more of a challenge to non-AI players.
This is why Wazir and Emir bots are actually among most deadly in vanilla. Even when playing againist them I feel they are more a bother than wolf, lionheart or saladin themselves.

It depends how the game is set up. If he starts too close to the enemy, he will quickly become irrelevant. If not, he may rule over his opponents

Ranged Hordes are easily countered by more Range on Towers. Get AI-Mods like Aggressive AI for more of a Challenge on that.

I believe they don't
