Diamond Bro193 Asgore says that just before fighting him.
What I find interesting about Asgore is that despite being a totally unforgivable child murderer, he still manages to be a sympathetic character. You can see WHY he murdered those six children. He didn't even have much of a choice.
The humans massacred Asgore's kind unprovoked, and sealed them underground for centuries, abandoning their entire species to die. Even so, he didn't succumb to hatred, adopting the first human child who fell. It was only after both of his children were murdered by humans that he declared war in a fit of rage. Even then, he calmed down, but it was too late to take back his actions-his kingdom depended on that hope of breaking the barrier, otherwise they would succumb to despair. His wife had already left him, and his children were already dead, so the damage was done. There was nothing left to do but bear the brunt of his own mistakes. But he couldn't bring himself to take in one of the human souls and cross the barrier to gather more. That, more than anything, speaks to his reluctance, and as Toriel rightly pointed out, his cowardice.
I gotta say, James, I've never encountered a person in the comment section who's been this passionate about writing everything there is to know about Asgore's character from the bottom-up. I've played Undertale a couple of times now and as far as I'm concerned, you've got pretty much everything correctly! Well done!

Jjames763 There are some parts of the game that in my opinion csnt be ruined by the community, One of them is the asgore fight, its like how you feel about the pale king in hollow knight, you feel bad for what he did, but also bad for him and hes an amazing charecter tho you never get to meet him in hollow knightㄓ

You're one of the few out there that i've seen putting the propper intensity in Asgore's theme, how it starts and then grows and gets louder and louder... sounds amazing, even though it gets to a god damn impossible level to play. Could you make one with Death by Glamour and Dummy! too?

This song wasn't meant to be intense, but symbolic. Bergentrucküng translated into English from German means "excavation", in which Asgore wishes to "excavate" him and all monsters from the Underground. This song symbolizes that hope, as well as Asgore's bravery and DETERMINATION.
Pretty sure Muffet is the only one that could play this

The pack itself is free, but only for people who buy or own Sibelius 7 or higher. I believe it's formatted in a way that you can only use it with Sibelius, so you'd have to have sheet music of whatever you're trying to export as audio.

At last, how did you create the anmation on top with the waveform and what is the glow effect? I use Premiere Pro CC to edit my videos, what is this made in? It looks nice.

This arrangement was so amazingly woven that it keeps the intensity, desperation, pity, and regret in Asgore's theme, if not more than there was in the original.

I love how simple yet effective the piano work was on this. While I love the 100 billion+ note songs, this rendition did enough, and did it well.
I love the song “ASGORE” for a few things:
1. The fact that there’s a part that represents the song “Determination” (2:15) since it’s Asgore’s voice that tells u to stay determined
2. The fact that there is a part for the “Heartache” song since he is Toriel’s ex
3. The fact that it makes it feel that he needs your soul, but doesn’t want to hurt anybody
This is so amazing, the effort in aesthetics and all, i'm so proud :D

Although the art is good, i hate the second image, it makes it seem like asgore's a villian when he's actually a really nice person who literally cries and cant even look at your face during the fight

His expression is actually almost the exact same as in one of his attacks when his eyes glow to different colours and swings his trident. And if you look closely, he's frowning. Signifying his monotonous projection during the battle and regretful actions.

But still, I do not believe the artist meant for this to be interpreted as Asgore being evil. He's really just a scared old fool.

Just kidding. To me, the Asgore fight had a surprise ending, and so that was my little twist on that. The ending actually reminds me a little bit of Last Goodbye, where it doesn't end on the root chord.
