Thank you for keeping it real! I love the explanation of how the Lit is misinterpreted, how MDs use this data to "market" their products, and the hypocrisy that permeates cosmetic procedures (and, in all honesty a lot of other medical specialties).
Please do a "class" in how surgeon create a better "you" without losing "you". I see so much "work" that just makes people look bland, although attractive... likely because they are average. I don't want to be bland. I like the bump on my noise... What are the right questions to ask?

(EarlyMiddleAgedFemale)🙏🏻 PLEASE HELP!! 🙏🏻 Ultherapy. It destroyed my face and aged me 20 years within a couple weeks. I had no wrinkles before and actually looked very young for my age. I am now at 7 weeks post-treatment and things definitely don’t seem to be improving. This has literally destroyed me and my life in every way. Health issues as well. I am thinking about getting a deep plane left with mini neck lift but then that leaves my sagging wrinkled forehead and sagging brows and sagging top lip. What would you suggest someone do to fix all the damage Ultherapy causes? Basically, my whole face is screwed up- where do I even start?
I really need someone experienced to discus this with and get all the information I can get, but I do not live anywhere near California. Please someone anyone out there in this universe. Please help me I feel I’m slowly dying inside more and more by the minute.

I have observed from most face lifts whether deep plane or smas placation have a similar medicre issue with variant loss of the sideburns and the bunching tissue in the temple area which has to be addressed with a briw lift. Which helps with the bunching skin around temple area because of the vertical lift. There is a doctor who thinks he's in the top 1 percent because he deviced a unique technique raising the mastoid. bone in order to avoid the pulling incision around the ear. the before/after pics look impressive and eventually the mastoid lowers back to original position. That technique is his trademark and is suppose to solve the scaring around the ear. I also understand this can only be done on a patient with moderate laxity. Can you comment on that technique? Is it something you might incorporate in your face lift? This doctor stated that he is trying to teach this imporved tequique. This is why most patients find picking out a good surgeon challenging because Its difficult to understand and know whats hype especially since most doctors make such great arguments to support their protocols and they amongst themselves can't agree on techniques.

What are your thoughts on Dr. Karam’s Vertical restore lift? I have seen his work and he seems to be somewhat of an artist? I want to get a facelift one day soon, but I am confused between a Deep plane facelift versus SMAS vs. vertical restore lift. Thank you Doctor Talei …Susan from Canada. By the way, your work is amazing ….I hope you feel better after your rant. I worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years and I worked as a nurse for a few years. I loved pharmaceuticals but nursing not so much and there were days where I thought you can’t pay me enough to do this. I am not doing nursing anymore. Take care. Be well!

Vertical restore is Dr karims brand name for a deep plane lift. And he likes to do fat grafting on almost all his patients. Rarely if ever do I hear a doctor talk specifically about another doctor especially critical. It's always in general terms.

But... or and ... what you say about evidence based medicine is ... just the way it works. I had to go for further tests after something was seen on my mammogram. The probability that I had a cancer was, say, 20%, but to me as an individual it felt like 50/50. Was I going to be one of the 2 out of 10 who has breast cancer? Well, that feels like 50/50 to me, but probability says 2 out of 10.
