I am wondering what that noise is this guy makes while trotting? Do mares do this too?

That is the sound of the penis, male horses can get their penis inside the belly. When a horse trots it gives some air and thats the sound you hear.
No mares do not make that sound. LOL

Nope, that woud give a big problem. The wound has to stay open and heal.
But I agree on the loss of blood, it was a lot. (to much imo)

I has always wondered about that because I only ever heard a gelding or stallion make that noise. Thanks for the information.
