    You’ve only just realised that David Moyes is a top quality manager? 700 games in the premier league wouldn’t happen by accident.
    And there are plenty of Hammers fans who now understand the old warning “be careful what you wish for”.

      You’re taking it too literally. Of course they know Moyes is a very quality manager but the last few years he’s had his critics at west ham and flopped at Man U (which tbf, every manager at Man U has post Ferguson). He’s an older guy and a lot of people maybe feel after West Ham he’d be done but he’s come back and looks to have fixed up Everton so far and got them scoring, which was not happening before, and deserves an UNDERAPPRECIATED recognition which is what they’re going on about.

    Moyes "proving he's a quality PL manager"? He's managed the most PL games than any other PL manager besides Ferguson and Wenger. Moyes PROVED his quality years ago.

    The only time Moyes has had the proper financial backing he needed to compete at the highest level was Man Utd, and they screwed him over (Only signing Fellaini in his first transfer window) and then sacking him for not being Alex Ferguson (how did that work out btw?). With new owners, and the hike in revenues the new stadium will create then he might just get a chance to compete properly with Everton

    The fact you're surprised Beto scored twice is an indication of your ignorance about our players.
    Beto is a good finisher - better than DCL - but was criminally underused and misused by Dyche.
    He created Doucoure's first and should've been awarded a penalty in the first half too.
    If he stays fit and keeps being started, he will score double digits this season

    • @Tasks.
      @Tasks. 8 дней назад

      To be fair, Wayne, i didn't know beto was a good finisher until this week, and I'm one who has been calling for him to get a consistent run in the side.
      But I do wish we would give players more time instead of writing them off after 6 months, take responsibility for signings and try to improve the player.

    How is beating that crappy Leicester team a statement win? Or beating an historically out-of-form Spurs? Brighton was a good win, though Brighton just got pasted 7 nil by Forest. It's too soon to tell if Everton is much better. Even the upcoming Liverpool game won't prove much, as Everton always plays Liverpool tough. Let's see the overall record after a dozen games and then decide whether Moyes is a real difference-maker.

    • @spaceOfwaste_101

      He's done more already than Dyche would do in 5 careers. It's a step up and we'll take that.

    • @TT-fq7pl
      @TT-fq7pl 6 дней назад

      @@spaceOfwaste_101 Yes, it's a step up. A tiny one, but still a step up. I just don't think it makes a significant difference. Everton will never get relegated and never get Europe, so hovering around mid-table is probably the best case scenario.
