I want to add that people playing/winning this game with English not being their native language is so impressive. I have been studying a foreign language hard for years and I can’t imagine having the grasp to play a nuanced social strategy game in that language someday. The more I study, the more I admire multi-lingual people.
GOD I LOVE YAM YAM SO MUCH!!!! his charisma just OOZES off the screen, we saw it on the show, we saw it in his post-season press, and we see it here again in this interview! so much love for the game he played, and i think the way he articulates how the social game actually works is some of the best ways to understand the game too!!! can't wait for his inevitable return on the first new era all-stars
Lmaoooo how coincidental! I literally now said to myself a few seconds ago, "dang no post-season interviews for 44" and then I looked on RHAP and u now posted Yam Yam's interview lol. Excellent timing!
Excellent interview. Both of you were great. Its a testament to good interviewer and interviewee dynamics that so much good content was covered within the hour limit. Made me smile many times on my drive home!
I just don’t understand how limited post-show interview lengths is supposed to help with “preventing” unwanted info to come out? If someone really wants to spill tea they can do so in a few minutes of talking, no matter the duration of their video.
pretty sure in omar's post season interview he revealed some info that CBS was unhappy about and after that, CBS made rob limit the length of these p.s. interviews :(
@@loafbyloaf8503Yeah I know about that whole situation but 42 and 44 are different seasons. There wasn't any big drama on 44 like that (or 43 for that matter) so it makes no sense for them to limit these to 1 hr
Why tf are these limited to under a hour this blows. Current rewatching the 41 deep dives while they work and it sheds so much light on what actually happens out there
People blame Drea but it’s 100% CBS’s fault for overreacting so dramatically. The reason why the show is compelling at all is because of the human drama inherent in a situation where people stripped down to their most vulnerable physical and emotional selves while playing a game defined by lies and crushing betrayals. But CBS wants to pretend it’s just a bunch of people being happy on an island together. It’s ridiculous, counterproductive, completely wrongheaded, and idiotic
@@megarooster99 In this scenario we do not know what happened behind the scenes to cause that portion of the interview to be taken down. There is not a direct link between that interview and the new restrictions - but the timing adds up. I agree with what you said about drama making the show better.
5:59 Maybe they should make one of the shelters nails an idol. Imagine the awkward searching and chaotic breaking of the camp to find it after being given a clue
Jeff Probst's "Full Tilt Boogie" phrase came from BB7 episode 3 as spoken by Danielle about Mike BOOGIE. I just watched it and freaked out when she said the words 4 mins into the episode. Ha! Not sure if you already knew this but thought I would mention.
33:14 I was just thinking about this. They would not have shown the scene of him being the one to name the Merge tribe if he didn't win. Cassidy last season named Gaia but that scene wasn't included in the edit..

Screw CBS for limiting these to 1 hour
How exactly does CBS have control over that ?
There was a ‘controversy’ with Omar in Season 42 (that pod was like 3 hours) and since then they’ve limited it to 1 hour
Would be funny if rob just does 3 separate 1 hour pods
@@Johnny_532 more my question why does cbs have control over how long rhap can be
@@EvilOrso I think cuz it involves contestants that were on Survivor

I don't get them limiting these post-season interviews to an hour. If 44 was such a great season, wouldn't they want people talking about it a lot?

Yam yam is busy I'm sure that's the reason.
Already eagerly awaiting a Yam Yam recap episode next season

CBS brought down the hammer following the Omar deep dive drama.

@@megarooster99 Somebody needs to ask Jeff on the On Fire podcast: "Why Jeff sucks: we need deep dives again, not only one hour!"
3 seconds off an hour 😭
Yam Yam was my preseason winner pick! It’s been a while since I guessed correctly so I’m really milking this glory🎉😄
So excited to see the "not so deep" dive!
Rob, i love this interview and yam yam is my favorite winner since tony.

I dont want to see anyone else on another All-Stars unless Yam Yam and Carolyn are on there.
SAME! after season 44 i neeeeddddd another all stars or second chance season! i want so many players from 44 to come back.

Such positive vibes and energy ❤
Excellent!
If 44 was 39 day season Yam Yam would be top 10 winner. Best winner of new era
If deep dives are only one hour why not just have them on Talking with T bird which have no time limit?
I think CBS has a contract with contestants and they are limited in talking for some period of time (1+ years)
I miss Deep Dives
