Nice video. I did a video on the same tent a year ago. You have more views in three months than I have in a year. Guess I should have added music. Good luck with your channel.
they are called tent pegs.you handle the tent poorly tossing around like a trash bag. apparently you are new to this, tent poles, power cord outlet. buy yourself a tarp for under the tent
Nice review ! I appreciate you not making me sit through cutting a cord of firewood, then insist on cooking me breakfast over the camp fire. I would highly recommend putting down a tarp under the floor of the tent as a vapor barrier . Tuck any excess completely under. This will reduce condensation, making it more comfortable and prolong the life of the floor by preventing from accumulating mud and grit on the underside. This is why I also cushion the tarp with a blanket. It will also provide insulation from the cold ground. I also put another blanket or carpeting on the floor inside the tent. What ruins tent floors is grinding grit and stones against the floor material; eventually making holes.
you may think this is lame but you look quite "buff". Perhaps consider having your wife, daughter, sister, mother aunt, grandmother or some young adult female try to set some of these tents up by themselves and THEN take them down. Yes,it is an instant tent for you but is it an instant tent for me, older adult female. I love to camp. Don't want to use a little 2/3 person tent but putting up a tent by myself is a nightmare especially if not as strong as you are and/or the wind wind picks up. Just a thought. That is the video(s) I m waiting for. Not ones that would be insulting. Someone that really wants to put up a tent, who is not as strong, is solo tent camping. thank you for taking the time to make these videos.
Hi Diana, thank you for your comment I don't think its lame at all! That's a great suggestion and very practical 👍 I will try my best to making another set up video with a female family member, Happy New Years!
What a great video thank you for making it but the long black peace is a floor mat that goes out front of the tent it has two hooks on either side that hooks onto the tent so it doesn't fly away and it keeps the dirt from getting inside your tent it is not meant to be used to as a replacement patch for the inside of the tent just that yellow paper patch that is the replacement patch. Once again thank you so much for making this video it was awesome and hope you're enjoying your tent 😊 Have a wonderful blessed day
I just bought this tent for emergency shelter if a big earthquake happens here in California. Was 98,-- $ at Walmart. Motto: Better safe than sorry. If my house becomes uninhabitable due to earthquake damages, I'll be living in this tent for a while. Insulation can be added inside, if needed. Very good asset to have for anybody who lives in California. Thanks for the video. Good to see how quickly it is set up and ready to move in.
Thanks for the review. Thinking about picking up this tent from craigslist for only $25 in new condition. I don't think I can go wrong for that price! The only waterproof tents I would trust out of the bag is Coleman and Big Agnes. North Face, Eureka and other "fancy/pricey" tents have let me down for their weatherproofness out of the bag.
$25 is not bad at all hopefully you took advantage of that deal. I also suggest taking a tarp and putting it under the tent to make it more waterproof.
That is not floor repair peice that peice hooks to the bottom outside of your tent on the bottom of the door its to catch dirt and debre from getting into your tent
Thanks for actually giving a step by step description of how to set up a tent. So many people post vids that are a sped up version with some stupid background music of themselves setting up a tent that is a worthless summary. You actually gave a detailed video that will help me erect my new tent up and verbally explained the process used to do it. You deserve a like and subscribe. Thanks
When I first got it I was dreading packing it up but after using it for a few years now I got it down to a science, maybe I'll drop a video of packing it up my way !
Hi it’s me Murwa l always watch your channels

Haha yes music always adds a nice touch to the video. I hope you keep making videos and thank you for the kind words !
Do you recommend putting a tarp underneath tent?
Hey its not necessary I never have but if you have one around it wouldn't hurt to put it under !
@@esskayswildlife6142 appreciate the response. Currently in Ensenada Mexico and didn’t need one. Tent is awesome 👏
I always put a tarp under and over becouse of rain ozark trail tents will leak

Great suggestions will definitely give that a try! Thank you
Problem with any Ozark tents are they are design for the perfect weather for camping, Not design for rain or snow
Yeah I definitely agree with that, I have used in and rain and snow, needed to bring extra tarps with me for both .
Simple 20$ tarp fixes that

I've had this tent for 4 years if camped like 60 times just finished a three night four day camp by the river still works great I love it
Great, thanks for the info, just got this tent glad to hear it!
You should have repackaged it 🙏🏼
Yes, unfortunately I don’t have this tent anymore but if I buy a new one I’ll definitely make a video putting it back

Thank you so much for the positive and informative comment !
Doesn't hold up at Lake Isabella.
How goes with the rain? Is the tent keeping dry inside
Actually just a few days ago I went camping in a thunderstorm and it held up great!
Just used mine, 3 day trip. It rained every day and stayed dry inside.

Thats an excellent way to use this tent ! Hopefully you won't have to use it besides for leisurely purposes !!
@@esskayswildlife6142 Thank you. Yes.
Thank you very much for your video! I just got a similar one that I was having trouble putting it up by myself. Now I think I can
Awesome ! Hopefully my video helped #happycamping
The floor replacement piece can also be used as a mat by the entrance
That's great to know, will definitely try it !
i guess a few bin bags under the flysheet would really waterproof it
I like your backyard bro
Wow sick tent!! Looks easy to setup

I have this tent. Waiting on someone to make a video of how to pack it up so it will fit back in the original carry bag. LOL
I actually got a very easy technique to put it back, I'll do my best to get a video up
That is not floor repair peice that peice hooks to the bottom outside of your tent on the bottom of the door its to catch dirt and debre from getting into your tent
Your awesome thanks for teaching me, I got rid of that tent but my new one is similar will definitely keep that in mind!
Ugh I came here to see how to put it away! 😆 thanks for the video
Lol it was such a struggle to put back ! But ill make a mini video showing how I do it!
Same. It’s impossible to get back in the bag!
I actually got it back in!! I was so proud of myself!

Thank you so much for your feedback, and best of luck setting up your tent !
Very nice, Thank you. You have a great day as well
Packing it up is the worst
When I first got it I was dreading packing it up but after using it for a few years now I got it down to a science, maybe I'll drop a video of packing it up my way !
Wish it was louder
Sorry I didn't have a proper mic but I will be making another video setting up the tent in the future while I actually go camping !
Once the tent is zipped up, is it bug proof?
No unfortunately bugs still find ways to get in. Most likely through the window mesh
Could people stand up inside this comfortably if they're between 5'2-5'4 in height?
Some one 5'2 and under should be fine anything above that might be pushing it
@@esskayswildlife6142 ok thanks
I got a 6 man 4 years ago ....ozark trail same style im 5 7 stood upright extra room.....so this one isnt the same?? Smaller??
I just bought one so ill be using it in a few weeks when we go camping.
I'm sure you'll love it very easy to put up!
did yours come with the organizers inside? mine didnt but the website said it does.
There wasn't an organizer in mine either, weird how the website says that.
Mine didn’t either
Can you fit the total gym machine in there for rainy days? It’s 10 feet long?
Nope would need a 10+ person cabin for that
How tall is it?
The dimensions of the tent are 10' x 9' x 66"
what are the dimensions of this tent?
9x10
Can you stand upright no bending??
Unfortunately I wasn't able too but my nephew who was 5'6 at that time was able to so I guess depends on your height. BTW sorry for the late reply!
Good video
Thank you much appreciated!
was needing to know how to put it back together
Did you take it off the frame or you mean just trying to get it rolled back up because that's the biggest pain in the butt
