Garunteed good salary but dull as fuck. That’s what everyone says. You’ll never be poor but never be rich and unless excels your thing you wont have fun. Everyone’s experience is different but thats the general consensus
@@connorwatt507 as someone who works in finance, it's not as dull as most people say. I enjoy my job, there is boring days but for the most part it's enjoyable. If your going into it thinking your not gonna like it, don't bother find another job 👍
@@srfhdx5584 - why does everyone have the impression that accountancy is dull loool, there's so many different roles as an accountant you're not just an "accountant"... everyone sees it as "doing someone's books" when the different pathways are far from that
I feel like in the tax section they didnt reinforce the Point of it. Yes tax sucks. But, it funds the NHS, it funds our education system, it lights our streets, funds innovation, keeps the elderly warm in winter, makes university affordable for all. So overall tax is good. It sucks for the individual but for the society it is incredibly good.

@@Aaron-188 unless ur company has 90k + turnover yearly you cannot claim back the VAT on ur purchase and I am assuming you don’t have a business with 90k+ yearly turnover
@@Aaron-188 If you’re in the UK I’m not sure how much I can help (I’m in the USA and we have different rules) but I would suggest you keep proof of any purchase you’re claiming if you can. If not, at least have your bank statement
@@Aaron-188 You don’t have to show any proof of the purchase to the HMRC but you are supposed to keep any records for 5 years just in case the HMRC does an investigation.
