My hope for Onslaught is that it will relieve loot updates every season/episode. The entire setup theyve created, Shaxx opening the gun safe and bringing out outlawed weapons, is *perfect* for bringing back any and all sunset weapons from any activity.
they needed another Dares of Eternity activity to bring back loot from past DLCs and seasons, this is the way to do it. They couldn't have added more weapon to the rotator at Xur because it is already very full.
MT + Recluse + Anarchy is one of my favorite loadouts of all time. I will proudly rock it again. And I'm excited to be able to swap in my new favorite baby, Heal Clip/Incan Summoner.
@@arjunbaweja7755 if you have manticores caty youll get an overshield while the perk is active so the self damage is negligable plus Manticore also works like AOT sparrow so you wont be getting hit as often in the air
I assume the origin trait might only be 3% or so, but that might actually be strong with an enhanced Demo or Pugilist. You might get noticeable amounts of energy above default Demo or Pugilist.
I feel like the only "miss" with the weapons they picked was succession and forebarence. I understand the reason they picked those two, but I also feel like they couldv'e picked different options
I would have rather seen Not Forgotten come back instead of Luna’s Howl, NF looks much better. Other than that I wish we got to see more of hammerhead.

Blade Furnace was my go-to kinetic weapon. I used the Stranger's Rifle AKA Elsie's Rifle in Destiny 1 until I couldn't use it no more (power capped). I wasn't afraid of killing an invader in Gambit with the Hammerhead. Haven't done a raid so being able to get and use Midnight Coup, Forbearance and Succession is very exciting.
Yep, I'm gonna be playing A LOT more D2. Imma be chasing that Reculse, Mountaintop, and Forbearance. I'm happy Forbearane doesnt require a raid anymore.

They DID say they're going to be revealing new craftable guns next week, so it could still come back as one of those. But in actuality they'll probably just update the VoG guns to be craftable
They had to shortlist 12 weapons. When we're talking about iconic D2 hand cannons, it comes nowhere near Luna's and Midnight. It's completely understandable really, 3 hand cannons would have been a bit much.

Most of them were absolutely unbelievably broken, mountaintop/recluse is almost the ENTIRE reason that sunsetting happened for weapons. I don’t like the idea of sunsetting but I get why they removed some of these weapons in particular. They completely broke the game.
With as many weapons as destiny has, it becomes impossible to balance for pvp especially as they add more. To make it easier on themselves they usually sunset older weapons and create similar replacements to suit their updated balancing.
unfortunately Luna's was really the only think i cared about and I have a hunch they screwed that one up. I don't care that people hated it. It was fun originally.
Yes. However, they're in severely nerfed states. And the the sandbox as a whole has changed a lot since then, whilst they're still very powerful. They aren't much more powerful than everything else.
I'm gonna be honest, I had checked out on D2. I was gonna pop in for the final shape and see what happens to the story, but I was ready to move on. I think I'm gonna get sucked back in.
A little sad we got falling guillotine succession and forbearance instead of something else since you can still obtain all of them and did we really need a 4th hung jury, but the rest of the update looks like fun

Glad I got what I wanted from trials this week since this is adding back Y2’s top pvp annoying guns to play against, all they missed is Revoker.
Drewsky is done already with Luna’s still being a 140 lol
I'm looking forward to Elsie's rifle. No time is my favorite primary but can't be paired with CD. Finally going to to have a great energy pulse.
