EW BIB has been too grassy for me as of late. I'd sub JW Dant BIB in there or Old Grand Dad BIB. Also ECBP Store picks in my area are $92 before tax. I'd take JD SB BP store picks over them. If you want something similar in age and price for a store pick Russell's Reserve store picks. Also to you're very lucky your woodford Batch reserve was so good. Last one I had felt like I was drinking a woody Bourbon through a cardboard box.
You must have been editing this video when I asked on facebook about a bourbon to use with the cocktail cubes. Your recommendation to me was exactly what your mixer bourbon is on here.
I don't have a Bar cart, but if I did: Mixer: Buffalo Trace Training Wheels: Old Forester 1910 Banger: Elijah Craig BP (I still have the C923, but I'll back it up) Age: Knob Creek 12 Fancy: Michters 10 rye ( know its a rye, but its fancy). I'm adding a sixth category (watched Hello Again Whiskey friends last night) ... IYKYK: Dettling Single Barrel.
great video i don't think I could argue with anything on your bar carts. I have never realy thought about whats on my cart but I do find we almost always have Russels 10 for our mixer, its 90 proof usually reasonably priced and makes a great drink.
Glad you mentioned the 1920 - I need to replace mine too! I thought one of you was going to call out the Michter's Toasted Rye for the final one, but I fully agree with Stagg. The Woodford selection surprised me. Might have to have to go hunt down a sample (or bottle......) myself!
Smh. It's only$40. And the creep begins. Do it your way, but I set a firm limit on what I'm willing to spend on a bottle. And I stick to it. Just for perspective. If you pay $140 for a 750ml bottle that works out to $706.62 per gallon. Imagine spending that on Milk, water or gasoline! But you'd spend it on whiskey? Again. I firmly support your right to do it your way, but I'm not spending over $700 a gallon on a consumable product. Would be different if it was something I could leave to my kids when I die. Cheers. 🥃😎
Actually, I’m happy B sticks to the under $100 philosophy. AND I’m firmly there, too. Even though I said it, doesn’t mean it will happen. I’m hoping someone simply sends us some samples because I like it so much! So far, it is still NOT on our shelves! 😂🤣
I loved this video! I have to do a video on this, and I still need to do the 7 deadly sins video as well! Take Care!
Cheers Walt! Good chatting with you last night.

I’ve been in a kick with it lately. It’s one of about 3 I would put in that category on the regular.

I like the 6th category. Cheers Tom!!!

@@kda00001 She LOVED it. I liked it, but clearly not as much as Marieanne.
If you buy it, send me a sample! It’s my bourbon of the year for sure!
Interesting picks and good reasoning. Bar carts are like snowflakes, no two are alike. Cheers!
I need a bar cart!
Definitely!
“Hi Kathy….” 😃
😂
I need to know, should I skip this video because I don't have a bar cart? Just yankin yer chains!! I agree with KC12 100%!
😂😂😂

Yes! Marieanne has a different threshold than me Jon. She’s convinced we’re dropping that cash. I’m not so sure. 😂😂😂
