@@SCARRIOR the point was that Americans don't play that at parties, AKA that people don't normally play military marches of their own countries at parties.
Of course, that's with modern western culture. Given that the Reich (and the 2nd Reich/Prussia before it) obviously exulted military values in society, things might be different. There was a heavy preference to having a sort of Marching Music tint to official radio songs whenever possible, for example. So maybe patriotic youths would play patriotic songs at parties.
But Goebbels would also have never allowed such weird modern "degenerate" remixing of German songs, since modern art styles were seen as degenerate influences. It would probably be illegal to make a Degenerate remix of the official SS marching song, like desecrating a flag or something. I mean, even Jazz was looked down upon. I imagine the various musical forms that came after would be looked at sceptically, too, like Techno. Unless they mellowed out over time. Like how the USSR went from deriding the Beatles as the "Bourgeoise belch" to inviting western rock stars to make performances.
