    Heres an idea In the middle section bowl. Make holes in bottom put a net in botttom then add a layer of charcoal, diffrent layers of sand diffrent sizes and at the top larger pebbles then the fountain would also clean itself filtering the water. All water dont need to be filtered all the time overflow wouldnt matter but eventually all water is passed dripping down in the filter

    Should have notvhed out for cord or ran it through bottom, used contractor adhesive to glue parts together, and possibly added stone so it was more shallow and better flow. Cool idea however

    How do you take it apart to replace the pump without having to tear out all the silicone?

      No need to tear out all the silicon, simple lift the fountain from bottom flower pot and detach the water pump.

    Notch for the power cord should have been on the rim of the larger, lower pot. Not the smaller, upper pot. Guess there was an 'Oops'...

      Thanks for watching. well it depends on region to region. In USA terracotta pots are usually expensive and hard to find but if you are from Asian countries then it is easy to find them, also they are cheap.
