Ive tried neurontin/gabapentin as my dr prescribed. It literally drove me insane. A bunch of weird problems and confusion. Eating, overeating. I would not recommend that medication for people or dogs.

Prednisolone is a steroid which will make him feel like Superman but will increase his appetite greatly. Gabapentin is to do with calming nerve pain, it's an antispasmodic and will basically take away any nerve pain to do with his leg. I hope October brings you some peace ✌🏻🕊️
