George was never as good as when he was singing jazz ("Kissing a fool" anyone?) I was offered this album by my flatmates in London back in 1999. I managed to wear off the CD. I love all of George's songs and albums but this one has a special place in my heart. I miss you, George. You left us way too soon. I guess the Earth wasn't made for a beautiful soul as yours...

As always, George Michael was an incredible singer. He didn't have any trouble singing high notes in full voice. I recommend that you watch George performing 'Brother, can you spare a dime?' at Pavarotti & Friends for Cambodia and Tibet. The concert was held in Modena, Italy on June 6, 2000. If you haven't seen it yet... It's just perfect!👍

I hated that " pretty boys" band when I was young. Now at 62 I am discovering his later solo work.What an amazing artist he was. Wisdom comes with age I guess.
I wasn't much of a fan of Goerge's solo musical offerings. However, when he recorded these renditions of the Great American Song Book, as examplified here, it becomes clear why his voice and talent are trully unique. Rest easy, George and thank you.
I just heard this song on the Golden Girl, Season 4 Episode 8 and brought me to tears. It was a woman signing but I'm enjoying this version of George Michael because when I typed the song it did come first Crosby and I didn't enjoy it that much
