I NEVER THOUGHT TO OVERLAP THE WEAPONS!!!! idk why i never thought of that tbh thank you this was super helpful i just failed a recent sword fight animation so i'm definitely doing to be using this method tysm
Edit: Yeah i think doing a lot of overlapping animations would be easier and i would like to.... kindly steal your method 😅However i'm animating (and want to animate) people not stickmen, do you think overlapping heads and stuff would still be useful here???

I'm new to this type of animation. I like the how you draw your 1st frame and then a second frame with a dramatic movement. And then go back to draw more detailed frames in between.
But how do you see both the 1st and 3rd frames on frame #2? I only see my previous frame when I go to the next one. Am I doing something wrong? Help

I use too little frames, I personally like 21-24 fps when animating and recently while playing a old animation back i realised it was too fast.
