- Christmas at the Hotel Del Coronado is one of our favorite times of year. It's so fun to watch everyone enjoy the ice skating, and the sights throughout the Del are so picturesque. I love how they set up their lobby, courtyard, and outdoor areas.
If you're visiting San Diego, you absolutely must be sure to visit the Hotel Del Coronado this Christmas.
Those lights were interesting. And had no clue about that quote from the movie. Funny how you remember certain things. And others you can't remember at all. You have a great memory.
I have an odd memory! I wouldn’t say great. 😂 I don’t remember the color of shirts my boys are wearing on any given day (always have to ask Amy what color I’m looking for if they’re off playing in the playground).
I'm so happy to see the tree isn't upside down this year. Maybe that was a sign Covid was coming. I live in East San Diego, 15 miles away, so I will be taking a drive out to see the Lobby! Thank you & Merry Christmas!

We drove over to the island, parked in the neighborhood, and walked down to the Del. Yup, this runs nightly through New Years.

nope never guessed the movie.. I did google the word and apparently its rendered chicken or goose fat which is an integral part of traditional Ashkenazi Jewish cuisine.. Hmmm learned 2 things new today :) We have put some decorations up.. manly our tree (Twinkly 7'5 ft.) but I haven't seen much up here so far.
We decorated last weekend. Before Thanksgiving, but that’s okay. 😄
