- This is an early review of LEGO Ninjago set 71793 Heatwave Transforming Lava Dragon! This set officially releases on June 1st, 2023 as a part of the Ninjago: Dragons Rising wave, and contains 5 minifigures: Dragons Rising Lloyd, Dragons Rising Kai, Wyldfyre, Lord Ras, and an Imperium Claw Hunter

Ninja fans aged 8+ can recreate their favorite scenes from the NINJAGO® Dragons Rising TV series with this Heatwave Transforming Lava Dragon (71793) playset. It features a never-before-seen dragon that kids can play with in 2 modes. In peaceful mode it stands majestically but when flipped upside down it switches to battle mode, which allows it to fire out a purple dragon power element from its chest.
Playset packed with minifigures and cool accessories
This ninja dragon playset comes with 5 minifigures: Kai and Lloyd, each armed with 2 katanas, Wyldfyre with her fireball fist, Imperium Claw Hunter with an Imperium sword and Lord Ras with a golden hammer and a battle hovercraft. There are 4 more dragon power elements in different colors and 3 dragon energy cores for kids to collect in other NINJAGO sets.

Depends on how much you're allowed to spend. The "cheapest" way to get all the characters, excluding Wu and Wyldfyre, would be to get the Temple of the dragon energy cores, Elemental dragon vs the Empress mech, and the Lloyd's and Arin's ninja combo mech
Also all of them look pretty good!
Of course the lightning dragon looks great along with the Empress mech.
The temple is a building, which is rare.
And the combo mech looks unique.
Of course all three of these will cost nearly 300 euros or dollars, so I can defenitely understand getting cheaper sets, like Sora's transforming mech bike.
The best way to get all the *new* characters (Sora, Arin, Ras, Empress Beatrix, Rapton, and of course Riyu) would probably be getting the Temple and Sora's mech, as they also look really cool. Temple could be swapped out for the Elemental dragon, though then you'd get an extra Sora and it's slightly more expensive.
You could also check out DuckBricks. He's done a megareview on all the sets, but doesn't go into much detail on each one.

I like how Lloyd’s light green belt matches the colour of his Tournament of elements belt.
I think that the purpose of the claw on the thing Ras rides is to steal the dragon energy core. Im most likely wrong but just in case thats the imperiums goal then maybe im not wrong
Wyldfyre will be the elemental mistress of heat, and Heatwave (the dragon) raised her so it isn't a Kai dragon but a Wyldfyre dragon, this is my favourite set of the wave, and also, please review Lloyd and Arin's mech next.

can’t wait to buy 2 of these and make a giant wyvern out of it lol, ik it’s a kids toy at the end of the day but I feel like the appearance of the model was the afterthought compared to the play feature. Especially compared to the core legendary dragon from 2022 that managed to incorporate both with much drawback

A Lego Ninjago dragons rising special set wave with collectable dragons of €20/ $25 with no minifigs and just medium size dragons
Reason, after seeing the dragons rising trailer im kinda dissapointed seeing we only get dragons in set 50$ and more, and a dragon wave with 25$ dragons would just be so awesome, cause all the dragons in the trailer Arent super big dragons so would really be cool
