When txt debuted I couldn't stan txt for a while because taehyun looked in my eyes a lot like jonghyun and he still does. Seeing this cover he really looks like him, he has also outstanding vocals and can dance so good. He really fits the style.

beomgyu covering minho (lower vocal range? and handsome af i might add) hueningkai covering key (mid-vocal range + hyper?) taehyun covering jonghyun (GOD TIER VOCALS) soobin covering onew (fantastic leaders with soothing vocals) yeonjun covering taemin (IT boys!!) i think txt translates really well to shinee because their groups have similar ranges (not necessarily just vocally but thematically as well),, additionally both groups are incredibly versatile in both vocals and dance and we're really lucky to be able to see txt covering their seniors in such a respectful way :)
Can we talk about how they pull off any concept from any era so beautifully?? Sherlock is a all time legendary song, starting from it's beat to it's choreography. And txt didn't dissapoint, not at all ✋
txt is the only boy group that has matched and shown the shinee vibe. they cant imitate it or do it 100 % no one can but they have come close to making it feel like the original while also showing their own unique colors
They didn't perform Sherlock as a cover, they gave their own feeling and vibe to the song since they are curious about what the future will hold for them. TXT is talented.

i'm pretty sure beomgyu took on minho's lines/positions in this performance (taehyun=jonghyun, kai=key, soobin=onew, yeonjun=taemin) and minho doesn't have any lines until his rap verse after the chorus. since this performance is only the intro until the first chorus, beomgyu/minho don't have lines here. i wish they put beomgyu at the center for the chorus a least but i guess they wanted to keep the same formations as the original song, so it kind of sucks that we don't get to see beomgyu show off in this performance. i hope we get to see a full performance of sherlock from txt one day tho!!

Damn their synchronization is amazing. I can't help but to smile while watching thia dance practice. Can i say that i like this kind of fits for their choreography??? Like honestly, nowadays they're more into baggy jeans (?) I don't know if that's correct but i guess it is. Anyway, i prefer skinny jeans for choreography because it highlights their synchronization at the lower body parts. Like you can see the alignment well, and the way they moves. It's very neat and clear. But with baggy pants, there's a lot of extra thingy moving. So, I cannot see their foot works well. I know that it's more comfortable to dance with those pants, but as a viewer I prefer skinny jeans like what they did on this choreography video.
