How do you do the little cups that go on the dining table?? I’m so lost 😭

It’s just two pieces, hard to describe without a picture, but they’re brass colored, the fatter cap-looking piece gets glued to the smaller metal piece that is flared at one end.
An easy way to glue two pieces that don’t stand up on their own like that is to place the two pieces on some sticky tack until the glue has a chance to dry, they don’t stand up on their own either so I glued them down to the table, but museum wax is good for placing stuff like that because it isn’t permanent.
