Edit: please stop replying to this, it's a lot of notifications lol. Also I don't normally do this, this was literally the first and last time I've said this...I just hate how people just make statements instead of a sentence. Thanks for using correct grammar, and not just saying "The fact that we don't actually see him hit the ground but we can infer it from the camera shaking." I appreciate it. Why don't people just say stuff that makes sense and is an actual sentence instead of just a fact (not even stating a fact), and not saying anything about it.
@@spidernh I hate how some people love their English class and their teacher so much that they become a huge teacher's pet. One example of this is spidernh when they praise a person's RUclips comment while, downplaying other people's comments. I’ve actually done this before. Held a top C for like 30 seconds and just kinda blacked out for a sec, didn’t fall, but if I didn’t grab on to my guy next to me, I definitely would have, lol.
I had a weird pass-out moment playing baritone once. A long, difficult section was coming up so I went to take an extra deep breath, but I already had some air in my lungs. I don't know what happened, but my vision was overtaken with black and white speckles and my face started tingling. Then, everything went black. Suddenly, through very faint red and black vision, I could see shapes of people standing over me. I could hear faint talking, like they were concerned. Then, I snapped back to reality. I was sitting up in my chair with a blank look on my face, and we were still in the middle of the piece.
+jorge thanks Jorge!! Thanks so much man! Yeah there was a long high melody right before that, between the double C and trilling that high Eb for 6 or 7 bars my vision just started to go all fuzzy, head throbbing/ hurt like hell! The tune is 'Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me' MF's version, did record the whole thing a few days later:)
Wow, always thought I was crazy. I avoid laughing relaxed when driving as my mind disappears for a bit as I feel somewhat dizzy. I only feel it as it returns that something strange happened.
If you can stand up while playing it makes breathing more easier.... if you slightly bend your knees it helps to make the high notes easier to achieve also....
Would love to do any high range exercise at any costs, but my problem is how do I exercise the exercise? There seem to be a technic/tactic to make those sounds?
One time in city college I was the guitar player in the big band and this trumpet player was playing so me super high notes like that in a concert and he passed out right at the ending. You have to be badass to play the trumpet man
Man, if I had a nickel for every trumpet player that I’ve seen passing out this week I’d have 2 nickels. Which isn’t a lot, it’s just weird it happened twice
True dat! Actually you just nailed the reason~ I was an overblowing maniac back then😅 later I learned how to back off on the amount of air but not velocity etc..
Want high notes for Christmas?~

I love how he falls right as the cymbal crashes, that was too perfect
i was almost expecting a laugh track to play lol
I love how he falls
Looking at the thumbnail I thought for a brief second that this was a world's greatest freakout video just by the room
same. amazing how the human brain works
SAME LMAO
I bet trumpet guy is that kid
So glad I'm not the only one who thought this.

HAHAHAHHA i really hope this doesnt happen to me with my baritone.. its bigger than me so it's hard enough to manage (im still in ms)

Do your breathing exercises. They're not silly. They actually help. I tried to tell myself but I was too stubborn.
That's probably the best I've ever heard you play bro. Execution was flawless🥇🏅🎖💯🤣
The landing must have been Beautiful!

+jorge I drooled on the carpet and woke up to the YT blasting the next song, Betsy did not get bent!
Trumpet Covers for Music Lovers the best thing is that the horn didn't get bent
+jorge Betsy came out unscathed!
I pass out when I laugh too hard. Quite scary actually.
Wow! That is scary, especially if you laugh a lot!
Drink more water!
Isnt that a type of narcolepsy?
@@300kike What do yo
Wow, always thought I was crazy. I avoid laughing relaxed when driving as my mind disappears for a bit as I feel somewhat dizzy. I only feel it as it returns that something strange happened.
Yes I nearly passed out on more than several occasions.
This bedroom loooks like the "Wow Kid" bedroom
Oh my god
The applause is perfect
The synch with the cymbal and the applause is priceless!!! Rumour has it he’s still down there lol
He quit WOW and became a killin’ lead trumper player. Anime arc of the century
This is unironically funny. The comedic timing is perfect.
Now THAT’S commitment, much respect!
The man gave it his all
And the horn took his soul because of it
i went and searched 'trumpet player passes out' because i knew it must've happened. It was just as great as I imagined.
Gotta love how he switched to 2&3 he knew he was in trouble but he made it 😂
4 years later, here we are, all gathered to witness this guy blowing his brain off...
Welcome! 🤣🤗
Man was OUT before he even finished the note
Now this video is a meme from "maybe I'm the monster" haha
Found it, 😂👍 you know when that you’ve ‘made it’ when...
I remember in band I played a loud low brass part and at the end I felt like I was about to faint for a second, then it passed
Blew so hard that his soul went straight through the trumpet and escaped his body
Dedication to his craft.
I love how people love really strange items with this video
I love how my band teacher told us to watch this 😂
The comedic timing is impeccable
This is why band is the most dangerous elective
Exactly
If band is dangerous, then everything must be dangerous. Everything totally doesn’t have a risk to it.
Yep, especially for trumpet and oboe players. The back pressure generated makes them more prone to strokes.
If you can stand up while playing it makes breathing more easier.... if you slightly bend your knees it helps to make the high notes easier to achieve also....
I shouldn't laugh
I shouldn't laugh
I shouldn't laugh

I shouldn't laugh
I laughed
This is what I call " quality content."

he protec
he attac
but most importantly
he got heart atac
That gives me smiles

The song ended perfectly with the fall.
*passes out
ENCORE *applause
as Roger Taylor once sang in 1978: "No, no more... of that jazz.."
Man, if I had a nickel for every trumpet player that I’ve seen passing out this week I’d have 2 nickels. Which isn’t a lot, it’s just weird it happened twice
Man if I’d had a penny for every comment about trumpeters passing out this week ….. I’d have a penny
the applause after 😂
Still insanely impressive
He defo earned that applause.
I’ve seen this happen to a friend of mine at a jazz concert. Funniest shit ever.
Right as the symbol smashed aswell ,Classic 🤣🤣😂😂😂
I hope the horn wasn't damaged!
Pianists: signature look of superiority
damn i hope the trumpet's ok
Man that trumpet player really passed out while playing high note!
Is the trumpet ok?
why does that room look like the from the freakout video
It's called Valsalva Maneuver
High notes are difficult to control, do not need much air..
I wonder what was the reason and he WAS OK, right?
True dat!
Actually you just nailed the reason~ I was an overblowing maniac back then😅 later I learned how to back off on the amount of air but not velocity etc..
Almost passed out playing lead with a terrible head cold. I was holding a G over high C and fell into the guy on 2nd.
What a applause when he pass out....lol
I passed out listening to it.
Bravo maestro!
Happens all the time, the triple high C is not for the squeamish or amamuture, PRO's only.......
That's Commitment.
why did you refer to yourself in the 3rd person
In high school are band director warned us of this. I just thought it was fake ( always the drummer) but I see now he was not l lying.
I bet the neighbours love him
This was me every day learning to control my diaphragm for the upper register. Still get lightheaded sometimes.
You can see his face turning red lmao
Please tell me the trumpet's okay...
His fingers weren’t properly pressing the keys. When you don’t properly press the keys they can get bent
the icon we all deserve
Him: *falls*
Camera: *shaking*
Sound: *Applause*
Nice drop.
That is the same room as that WoW kid
Wait a minute, are you the kid from the Wow account video??
Holy shit is this the same room from the viral freakout video?
The clapping lol
Love how he loses consciousness right when the music stops
It's like they were applauding him for falling.
Anything to get the note
is the trumpet okay?
It happen to me while i was on the ukulele
Man… he really blew it.
Know the feeling
What you don’t hear in the video is the neighbour’s sniper rifle with silencer.
Lol!! This might be my favorite comment🤣🤣
Ngl that was a good exit
this is why i switched to saxophone
why not live a little?
I don't need a trumpet to achieve this, all I need to do is stand up too fast, have my shower too hot, or have too many cigarettes 😅
I just hope the trumpet was okay…
Oh and the guy too
1980 I did that over the saxophone section at a football game worst part my trumpet fell thru the bleachers and got damage from the fall 🙄
Was he alright?
I think he's dead now, should probably let somebody know
Did that on a practice field before. fun
my dog passed out too
I play trumpet and this looks hard af
I am going to hell for laughing so hard. 🥴
How does he end the video if he passes out
Something magical called video editing. Either you're really dumb or not great with technology lol, I'm going to believe it's the latter
