Nice video. The 59 Mantle is not trimmed. If SGC believes that an Authentic card is trimmed, the label will say "Evidence of Trimming". They added these qualifiers about a year ago. There are four of them, "Evidence of Trimming", "Altered", "Color Added" and "Miscut". A simple "Authentic" likely means something like an erasure, cleaning, tape residue, or the like.
The phrase "10 of 10" means serial #10 in a limited series of 10. Are you trying to confuse me? Just poking fun at you. SGC is notorious for tough grades on vintage. At least they slabbed it. PSA might not touch it.
To help from getting trimmed cards I've seen buyers hold a real size card flat on top of the suspect card. The trimmed card will always be a bit smaller, not as wide or tall.
I agree, PSA for value is King, but I love what SGC is doing now. I think they are trying to take back some of the market share for cards that are graded. I also think we’ll start to see an upswing in Value for SGC 10 vs PSA 10, it may not be even but i think the gap will begin to narrow in the next 5 years.
Great submission overall that Mantle is unfortunate but still a gorgeous looking card. Congrats on the others. Just subbed look forward to seeing your future videos.
Great sub overall!! Too bad about the Mic for sure but at least its slabbed! I hope to have a couple 1960s psa blind reveal sub videos going up soon. Keep the videos coming. You gained a new subscriber here!
Is there a grading company the Mantle could be sent to where it could get a better grade? I don't think Beckett or PSA do better but maybe some other company? I have to say, though, that SGC has the nicest designed slabs. That Mantle looks fantastic in that black slab. The others do as well.
Thanks for Watching. SGC 10 is their Gem Mint or = PSA 10. I believe Beckett 9.5 is their equivalent of a PSA 10 gem mint. SGC does have a 10 Pristine which is much more rare pretty much a Perfect card, so very very rare to get that grade.
Sgc tuxedos look way better than PSA in my opinion. The black makes most cards pop. Plus they don't make you pay more just because a card graded makes it worth more than 500. A card is a card shouldn't matter what card there shouldn't be any extra cost trading a flipping card

Thanks for watching. Good to know about the “altered” classification, I didn’t know thanks for the info on this!
@mduval27 I was guessing an erasure attempt. Bottom middle possibly?
Nice sub! You don’t need the background music. If you want to keep it, it should be way more quiet.
Thanks for watching!

That Trevor Lawrence at an 8 was a hearbreaker.
For sure, looking at it again, it’s not centered and should have known. But now I do!
love the Mantle either way!
Thank you, regardless I love it too!
The centering on the Lawrence Crusade is not good. Think it would still deserve a 9 unless there’s a surface issue. Very nice stuff!!!
I agree, I should have caught that before submission. Looking at it in the slab, it was very apparent that the centering was way off. Lesson Learned!
Awsome cards my man,great submissions!!👍😎👊
Appreciate it! Thank you for Watching!
Thanks for sharing man. ill be sending my first submission soon
Thanks for watching. Good Luck!
Upper left corner(and maybe left upper edge) on the Carroll. I can see just a hint of white. Damn nice card tho.
Thank you, yeah those Carroll rookie auto cards are big cards for me! Thanks for watching!
Man Cards look beautiful in these cases wish they got PSA price Premiums.

Thank you for the watch. I was pretty excited about it as well. I agree, regardless of the grade it looks nice slabbed

Thank you for the Watch and for the subscription I appreciate it.
@@ComebackKicksAndCards you bet. I cant wait to see more from you!
I think you did really well. Sorry about the Mantle though.
Thank you! Yeah either way it is authentic and now it’s slabbed so I can still enjoy it.

I really like SGC, can’t beat the price and turnaround time, and the black tuxedo slabs look nice too!
Noob here - Isn't an SGC 9.5 = PSA 10?

Ditch the crappy background music please
Man grading 2 dollar cards is not a good business model.
Thanks for watching, to each their own.
Why not, if you can buy for $2, pay $17ish to grade, and even sell for $50 is like $25 profit.

Agree, PSA is great, but i think the SGC tuxedo looks really good!
