Whenever I hear this song, I always hear in my head at some point "What a splendid soul you were..." or a certain character traumatically yelling "No!"
@@biozelink6086 This may be a spoiler but in the dlc on Trina golden country i really felt a connection with Jin and after replaying the main game i really felt like Jin was truly a hero
@@JarrHeadss Don't worry, you can't spoil me. I've 100%ed 2, Torna and X, and almost the original. I think Jin's more of an antihero. His actions are justified to extend, but he also goes around killing innocents and people just doing their jobs. One of his goals is to wipe out the human kind, just imagine how many Lora's he will kill. Even he realized it in the end. I still love him i just don't really think he's a hero. He is in Torna at least.
That's 100% fair. I love that you still appreciate the music even without having played the game. I have definitely listened to music from games I haven't played before as well
@@animevivi Yeah, good music is good music that can be appreciated. Of course, if you know the context, it would be even more powerful and impactful. Thanks for replying to my comment. Much appreciated!
Aww thank you so much Jimmy! When I first got the piano part, I was just like, "Huh it already sounds so pretty. Maybe we should just leave it alone," so it means a lot to hear that my viola added something ^^
This sounds great! I’m a big fan of piano and violin/viola arrangements, so this was a pleasure to listen to. I haven’t been able to get far in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, but I do recognize this piece. Well job done by both of you guys!
This is awesome! Can you please share the sheet music ! 🙏🙏🙏 I can t find any for the violon and I d really love to play this awesome song on the violon!
It's a real shame how much beautiful music was wasted on such a piss poor story with even poorer pissier characters. It's so beautiful, but it reflects absolutely nothing of value. It's just a series of pretty sounds. Such a waste.
That's fair! I did still enjoy the game and I think they made a lot of improvements to the gameplay mechanics, but I definitely felt more connected to the characters and story of the first Xenoblade game. There have definitely been times when I appreciate soundtracks for the music's sake as well, so either way it's nice to get some good music out of it even if you didn't enjoy the game :)
For sure, but I live for the times that I can listen to a piece of music, and not only is the music absolutely divine, but it also brings back memories of an incredible journey. That's how I feel listening to Xenogears and Final Fantasy VII for example. It feels incomplete when the glorious memories aren't there to go alongside the music.

Appropriate for sure! That just made me go back and re-watch the "splendid soul" cutscene and T_T
AHHHHHHHHH YAH!
Oops sorry
He truly was, one of my favorite villains/fallen heroes.

"What are you hanging around here for? Go!"
Vandham will always be the best
"Live! Live for her! You gotta make it to Elysium!"
And when you die, what then? Who will stop the inevitable?!
Didn't play the Xenoblade series and thus don't have associated memories but that won't stop me from admiring the music and rendition. Thank you!

It’s even more powerful when you see Jin die
