I think it was the bad publicity that came out of that which caused what I think is a really good album to be pushed aside. What I think makes him so special and unique is his live performances. He sounds amazing live in fact I think he sounds better live sometimes because there is a richness to his voice that sometimes is lost in the production of the albums. He was born to be a performer. To pick my favourite live performance is really hard because there are so many he’s just that good. Proof of that is in his LP shows all 4 acts, really really good!

More Liam please!!! 😎❤️ A problem with Liam’s LP1 is because he’s not credited as songwriting anything when we know that he and Louis wrote a large percentage of 1D songs together, it seems fishy. He did release a few songs that he wrote but the rec label pushed them to Japanese bonus tracks or for Target versions of LP1. That being said I agree LP1 is greatly underrated/dismissed unfairly. I think Remember could’ve been a HUGE hit for him had it been released as a single. I’m so happy and excited he’s currently on break to make some music. He deserves so much more love. I really have high hopes he gets to put so much more of himself in his next album.
He wrote four songs off his album and four out of the bonus tracks. None of this makes the songs he was credited with writing in 1D seem ‘fishy’ to me. Liam never really delves that much into his personal thoughts, he needs to do that in order to write for himself. People need to understand that writing for a group or someone else is so different to writing personally for yourself. Don’t get me wrong I do really like the album because like Steven caught onto there’s so many moments Liam shines! Strip That Down was given to him by Ed Sheeran, has 15 😳songwriters credited on it, and Liam said himself the reason why he got credit was because he didn’t want the original sentiment of just making money, but he made changes so it was about making money to share with a special someone. (Contradicts the sex crazed womanizer image he’s been given). The other three songs have closer relationship to him since it’s gone down to 5 songwriters being involved. He’s said in recent interviews what was happening was he was being handed lots of songs all about sex and that’s not what he’s all about. He’s not that one dimensional image. He was cheated out of a songwriting credit for Remember since there’s video of him entering the recording space with guitar in hand telling the other songwriters his idea for the song and working out the lines with them. Not sure what happened with that. He’s still being very controlled in various ways so I’m really hoping he is able to take more creative control than the limited amount he was given with the first album. I love him to pieces and I’m so proud of him. I’m looking forward to him exploring his sound even more and people seeing more of the real him.
