Making a fish cache Geocache from a Spunky Pup dog toy using Sewing Machine and k40 Laser Engraver

This video shows the process to make a geocache from a dog chew toy. This could be used as a secret stash or hiding spot as well, but this is being made as a game piece for geocaching. I start by disassembling the Spunky Pup dog toy. I add velcro to create a sealed section and sew up the remainder. I use a propane torch to heat a pointed scratch awl and melt a hole for an eyelet. I hammer the eyelet into place and attach fishing line. For the filler fish, I use a k40 laser engraver to cut and engrave a kind message on a fish cutout. I add a log to sign and a trackable tag to complete the cache. This cache gets attached by the fishing line and is ready to get caught. #cache #geocache #geocaching
