Enjoying my DBD! Any chance you could do a vid on the less aggressive BD Power Bar? Better yet...maybe send a BD to one of your favorite affiliates for a review?!?! Go REP! Thx
Love it! I admire how the team innovates in incremental (BUT noticeable) ways. The cerakoting + a badass name like "Diamond", "Helios", "Alpine", "Hades"... makes these barbells the full package. Can't wait to try them out for myself!
@@REPfitness Your team is exceptional and your price points are always more than fair, especially with shipping. I just commented on the video a day early before your team raised the bar and dropped the prices on your site.
Love this bar. Knurling is aggressive but not so much it tears up your hands. I have the cerakote/duracoat that is holding up well with 4 day/week lifting, chalk, and brushing for past two months.
we really need a clear differentiation here...the specs say the differences are that the DBD has Deep Mountain/Very Aggressive while DK only has Aggressive knurl. The DK says "Bushing" while DBD has bronze bushings with cerakote options
Our previous barbell, the Deep Knurl Power Bar, has similar knurling to our Double Black Diamond Power Bar. Both have deep mountain style knurling. However, the overall construction, materials, and design of our new in-house engineered bars releasing this month and next are just far superior.
@@REPfitnessif I want a less aggressive knurling would you recommend the cerakote option or the old stainless steel power bar that has medium knurling?
Well put together video for a well put together bar. Interested to see where this one lands as a lot of other brands SS bars have been creeping up.
Review in the works I hope Brandon! The plot thickens as this is $150 all-in cheaper than an AGGRO 2X delivered to my home in Canada...
Any chance you collab with rep on this bar?
@@MrPanthers23 I was able to talk to the team and give some insight but it was more specifically around the squat and deadlift bars.
Is that a short rack or two really tall dudes 😂
It’s a little bit of both. They’re taller than average, and that appears to be Reps 80 inch shortest version PR-5000.
@@leskobrandon9872 correct and shot from a slightly upward angle.
Wish you guys would’ve made a Duracoat version with hard chrome sleeves, that contrast would’ve been awesome.

That Hades will be my next bar. Release date?
Excited to see the price points on this one...
Always competitive with pricing... cmon nofate, you know this! It's innovation, quality, and our Colorado based support team that make us shine.

I tested this one at home gym con. I will be buying this sweet piece of steel.
Thanks Eric. Loved getting everyone's positive reactions at Home Gym Con and the Arnold Sports Festival!
Hi Jeffrey 👋 You are constantly producing killer equipment. Great job.
What is the TPI on the knurl ? How many peaks in an inch ?
I know you only need 1 barbell, but I can't stop buying them. I may have a problem
1 barbell for each lift
Somethin about goin big red. Gonna have to make some room for this one

Watching that guy bench and lock out his elbows is giving me anxiety
Can I have this bar in fully stainless, but now instead of august? 😀
Only 28 more days until mine arrives... I love your stuff but these 2 month long lead times on orders are brutal.
Not gonna lie I have the rackable stainless steel curl bar and its niiiiiice. Might be pre-ordering this
Send it to Australia please 🥰 would love to have with and compare with the rogue SS OPB. My walkout is calling out for the thicker collars haha..
Looking very nice. When do the new barbells release?

If and when my TPB's die ill be getting you PL series bars!
How is this knurl different from the Stainless Steel deep knurl bar?
That will be the closest 'similar feel' to our previous barbell lineup.
When are these going to be available on your web site?

Played around with this bar at Home Gym Con and I was impressed. Loved the knurling!
Thanks Flex! We loves showing them off to everyone at Home Gym Con and the Arnold Sports Festival
How does this knurling compare to your deep knurled bar? Is this just a 2.0 version of that bar?

@@ak-zw8jv I would wait for our Black Diamond Power Bar... the less aggressive knurling option that will be coming in a few months.
Would like to see someone do a review on the black diamond one".
Is there going to be a bare steel option eventually?
I wonder how much this rattle when drop. That’s the only reason why I usually go with American Barbell.
You usually hear rattle because the sleeve tolerances aren't good enough. We took our time with this aspect of the bar to ensure it's top tier.
