Interviews with Madonna are always fascinating-specially during this ROL era. Kurt Loder of MTV managed to bring out her interest with his questions as he did in 1994 in Spain during her filming of the video for Take A Bow. Showed her rich creative mind influenced by her study of Eastern mysticism, numerology, knowledge/appreciation of the arts, literature, history, and her amazing respect for fellow artists who collaborate with her and the artistic creative process. This set of the Frozen video was in a dry lakebed in the Mojave Desert in CA in winter-explains their heavy clothing. This was in 1998, and her romantic love interest at that time was Guy Richie whom she’d marry in 2000. Sharp, crisp sound-thank you Dan K for this video.❤😊
Madonna is very very self-conscious and she is incredibly insecure and she has admitted that and I think her vulnerability goes through in all of her work. You just have to be there to see it. You have to be able to see it.
Ray Of Light truly was a Renaissance of an era for Madonna ✨🙏🏽🪄 Her beauty, her outlook, her maturity, and musical journey was just a stellar rebirth! Ray Of Light is one of the greatest eras in Pop Music history, and one of the greatest albums of all time. She truly reached an artistic peak with this era! Winning 4 Grammys, Gaining back America’s respect for her artistry, and cementing her legend status in the industry👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 She isn’t the Queen Of Pop for nothing ✨👑✨Also, her scream in the beginning lol 😅😅😅
I think MTV and other programs and journalists did their best to capture her as accurate as possible, but seeing all those raw footages and b rolls, I feel she delivered much more of her personalty, wisdom, humor and her point of view as what we finally got to see back then. It is a pleasure to see and hear her. This woman is growing on me even more after seeing her Celebration Tour. I am so thankful that she is still with us. And I am thankful for your work, dedication and time to bring this old gems to life, Dan. Thank you so much!
In this interview Madonna is very intelligent and a sight to behold, a beautiful lady any man would be blessed to be with. Her music in the 80s and 90s, and 00s was an integral part of my teens and young adulthood. It was/is great for cheering you up and getting you out on the dance floor. Tks Madonna.
This has been great. Kurt Loder is just one of those voices and personalities that has his impact on us, whether he knew it or not, just like she's describing. But yes, thank you again. Your helping me like Madonna again, lol. I'm 37 now, she's 40 here. Every Madonna era is like a pop culture historical moment in its context. I love looking at 1998 and hearing it like it never ended in a way. Before they would of filmed this and we were never intended to see it all.. but the experience of the whole thing is definitely more satisfying and you get to know her more.
✨🖤✨ She’s so charming and clever, always. Even when she’s tough it’s charming, but especially when she’s relaxed, vulnerable and playful. Kurt Loader always brought out that side of her. And the way he got goofy and distracted when she said he looked good… I’m sure he had a bit of a crush on her. And did we hear him call her “Maddy” at the end?
*DARK HAIR looks way better on her. The BLOND is not really fair to Italians, regardless.* It just proves that she doesn't really love darkness, when it is a part of life and her foundation.
I love Kurt. He lets Madonna talk, and doesn’t ask her a ton of stupid questions. I could say this is peak Madonna, but I don’t think it is. I think she’s going to continue to become more interesting as she ages.
It was revealed few weeks ago that new owner of MTV will delete all the archival footage so probably someone was smart enough to make copies and leak them

especially*
Wrong, she doesn’t meet guy till 2000.
@@ratiod2289 They actually met in spring 1998.
she was in that time living her best moment, she seems happy and very self conscious
self conscious and happy don't mix. you might mean self aware...but even then, that's just another ego trap.

This channel is an infinite source of rarities. ❤
00:02 - This proves Madonna could sing very high notes (if she wanted to).
Not necessarily, it would need to be sustainable

thank you Dan 🤗
Thank you for always remastering and uploading these precious Madonna interview videos in 4K • HD 🔥🔥

Only Madonna could do interviews in cold deserts at night. Michigan girl!
I thought she was from NYC?
@@ct6852 she was born in Michigan than moved to NYC years later.
Thank you, Dan. - As always ❤

She looks way better with black/dark brown hair. Maybe because that’s her natural hair color 😊
Thank you for your uploads ❤
she looked the most beautiful during this era
i remember watching this😊❤
Not this exactly. This is the uncut footage that only very recently leaked. Loads of unseen bits.
I love Kurt. He lets Madonna talk, and doesn’t ask her a ton of stupid questions. I could say this is peak Madonna, but I don’t think it is. I think she’s going to continue to become more interesting as she ages.
I didn't care for him when he invited Courtney Love up on the platform after she kept throwing all her MAC makeup at Madonna.
THANK YOU!!!!!
Beautiful 😍
I wish she would do interviews again.
I wish she did the tour like she described it instead of that dull movie! Love her here , she's funny. ❤
So beautiful! ❤❤❤
She is really THE manager of talents for her vision.
What a Beautiful Woman 💜💜💜
Omg Madonna i see your beautiful eyes. Goddess.. I see, Future prove past
❤
Madonna beautiful
U can tell she was spending alot of time in England, i hear a British accent coming across....
No one see? Multi dimensional being 🙌🏻💫🌈🔮🪬#timesup My queen 👸
Me and Madonna both have a nanny ❤
How do things like this make it out to the public?!
2:50 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
that sassy teeth gap she had was huge
...and sexy!
❤❤
Do we think Kurt is behind these leaks? He often looks back at his M stuff on his socials.
It was revealed few weeks ago that new owner of MTV will delete all the archival footage so probably someone was smart enough to make copies and leak them
Is that Kevyn Aucoin makeup??
Is that her real hair or is she wearing a black lace-front wig? Either way, though, Madonna looks great with long, straight black hair!!
It's an elaborate wig in several pieces, she was actually a blonde when she shot the Frozen video.
Please share brolls from material girl video
What’s wrong with her eyes? It’s giving reptalian
Is it just me, or is there something going on with her eyes?
It's the AI upscaling to make the video look more HD.
@@Bkaas ohhhh okay. I thought it looked pretty hi-def for being as old as it is 😂 That makes sense now.
@@BkaasI don’t know about that
Her eyes blink a lot👁️
Reptilian
Love Ray of Light but I feel like she was kind of stealing Shirley Manson’s style a lot during this era
I don't think that at all
@@sashabertold3731that’s fine you don’t have to, opinions are fairly unique in that way.
Candy Perfume Girl has a Garbage vibe but other than that, I don't see anything "stolen" from Shirley Mansion during this era.
@@1UpJohn I should clarify I meant her fashion style not musically
