- Today we offer a reading of Martin Luther’s famous letter, which now goes by the title “A Simple Way To Pray.” This was a letter that Luther wrote to his barber, Peter Beskendorf, who had sought Luther’s advice on how to pray. Luther utilizes both the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:5-14) as well as the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17) to outline a practical prayer method, which can still be used today! Enjoy!
