In my art class, speaking about watercolors, I was told by my professor, to start with the lighter color then add the darker colors, it is the opposite of acrylic or oil. Is that correct? It has been a long time since I took that class. Your's were very fun. I loved them.

All projects are absolutely gorgeous but I have to say my favorites were the floating frame, which I have plans to also do, and the dresser make over. Brilliant!!

Love the watercolor leaf art & the Greek vessels. The leaf art look is quite popular. Simple drawings with hard black lines, overlapped with watercolor is so beautiful and simple! This video, especially the Greek vessel makeover, reminds me that in upcycling form is everything and the original finish has to be imagined away. It really takes a special eye to see beyond color and finish to pure form.
