Ben Vongsurith It's not heavy, but it's not as light as the carbon fiber ones, which are way more expensive. It does take a while to get it if you do a custom. If it's one that Joan has in stock, you're good. If it's custom, they'll tell you 3-6 months - double it.

9 lbs or more on your back . By the time I open the case and open the flaps I'm too tired to get my flute out. Solid case though.
Is it comfortable to carry around?
